Actually, an AMP will not get an MAE because a MAE will require the girls to be licensed massage therapists (have MATs). If you notice, the AMPs advertise as Relaxation places, never as massage places to avoid being inspected by DOH and fined/shutdown for not having licensed massage therapists.

You do not have to have a MAT to get a MAE. The MAE is a business license that says the establishment meets DOH requirements for cleanliness and equipment. Once you have the MAE, you go out and hire MATs to actually do the massages.

Funds have been very low so I took a break from mongering until recently and started to get funds to play (will report some stuff later).
But right now I got a question. I got a text on my phone this morning saying a phone i recently called (a provider on CL) was i confiscated by HPD. The text seems to be made from the arresting officer of the provider, and say's the my number will be added to a data base and further contact to the number is prohibited. It continues to say i will be investigated and restraining orders will be issued.
Is this for real? Anyone else out there get one of these? If so, what should i be expecting to come down the pipe at me.
Any advise will be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.

Sounds to me like some cop doesn't have enough to do. Either that or some punk got ahold of the phone and is trying to scare the bejeezus out of you, and probably others, who like you, accidentally hit the wrong numbers when they were trying to get parts for their cars.

That is what i was thinking, but who knows. It seems like a bunch of providers are getting busted right now.
I was thinking that U.C. just grouped texted everybody in the phone, but I'm not sure. The text woke my up and I was like "WTF"!
Mainly just wondering if this has happened to anyone. I know this girl was a new managed provider, maybe she did that to get the people that called or is calling to stop becasue she want out of the biz.
What a start to mongering again. I guess it's time to get a new untraceable GO phone.

R74[/QUOTE]Have heard thru my sources that the LC/LE do use this website to monitor activity. However, this is viewed has hearsay or rumor. Nothing tangible can be used. But gives them an idea of where the action may be occurring and which stones to turnover.

LE/LC knows what is going on and where. They wait. Until some business gets complacent and sloppy then they get caught.

If you are being investigated, the police will NOT text you. If anything, they will at least call you, but all forms of investigations will be notified in person, not a text. As an earlier report stated, it would be a jealous BF (which is the MOST probable answer) or a prankster. Besides, the police doesn't really know if you could be just her friend or a brother. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Was the text from the provider's phone? If not, did the text display a phone number that you can Goggle to see if it's LE? If you are being investigated by CID, they wouldn't text you.

If you are using your own personal phone, then you should consider getting a prepaid or second phone just for the mongering.
Never know who may use your real number against you and if you have a S/O or are married, you take a BIG risk using your own.

I'm not sure if that's real or not, but, if they get a hold of you, (Hopefully you didn't leave an incriminating message) you could try saying you dialed a wrong number. I check it and it was texted from the providers phone.
