Hi,
I was out a couple nights ago and met Veronica on cicero 50th.
This Veronica is a WSW in her late 30's. She has decent features and has dark wavy hair and eyes. She was coherent and pleasant.
I do not think she is the Veronica recently reviewed here.
Little direction was given for a good thirty dollar BBBJ but there was No BLS.

Not sure why he got pulled over but makes you wonder.

On grand going east bound on the south side of the street there is a big blue bus stop that franklin fuzz is constantly chasing the beggars away. Now given that really is franklin right there and it was indeed county it could be what you might be thinking. There has been a lot more of the walkers hanging, sleeping around there as well as a lot of boarded up windows for instance at the lido. It's hard to believe since it's not the best of strips anyway, it is imo getting worse. Just be careful for not only tom's men. I would also be looking for gang activity and robberies. will repost in the melrose thread as well. just noticed the reference was on the chicago thread though.

It is not just plain Tom. I have always referred to him as Lord Dart. Based on his past treatment of us and the girls, I have often thought Lord Vader would be appropriate. On occasion, I travel the strip mostly for old times sake. Except for a few long toothed old bats (those that still have teeth) staying at the Lido, there is little reason to be there, with or without your gang members. The clubs are kaput, and I can't remember the last time I saw a street girl. One on Friday morning that I saw north of the meth clinic on the same side and once I parked near the flea at lake and mannheim she appeared again. Imo for a quick ride back to the hood one could procure a quick hummer. At that point no one took advantage, however after she walked up onto the bridge who knows. The other was on the opposite side of the street yesterday Saturday and she looked like one as well, however franklin passed me slowly on the left as I was going northbound got to belmont ish and then did a you so who knows. At the same time one of uncle I mean king darts fellows was pulling into their little cop show there. It's just imo they are doing nothing at all to control the strip from going further down hill. Like homeless up here do not work. They don't even tolerate the handlers. It's just once you start on heim say from addison down to lake you are going to see handlers, shopping cart pushers, sleepers and all else down there. I think mostly what is happening is after work the local po po is stopping possible dui's after they get out of those shot and beer joints. Oh BTW carl's was semi full late afternoon Saturday as well. Just looky look for me as even if a situation presented itself I was flea spent so too tired and hungry. I guess I am old when I want a bed and a meal instead of a possible scooby dooby do!

Any advice regarding areas, prices, and LEO behavior is appreciated. A city of this calibur is out of my comfort zone.

Others will chime in, however would also post your request on the melrose board under SW. There are a few old guys like me, ump and mayor quimly that know the terrain pretty well out in the area you will be staying. Maywood is really block by block. Some safe, some not so much. Meaning just like a few other surrounding burbs down there such as hillside, bellwood, broadview. It's a block by block thing. Again post on melrose as well and happy hunting. Stosh. Peace and when in doubt do with out. Ok well some reading this will realize my nurse will be in to control my drooling problem, however again I am hoping she forgets to lock up the internets!! (sorry inside humour to a select few).
