The something else can be almost anything, including a better offer from someone higher on their list to see. Mix in that most do not even bother to notify of the cancellation. Image being a provider who blocks off time and turns down other would be appointments for that time slot and the client is a now show. So they either ask for a deposit or double and triple book and take whoever shows up first. Ever drive somewhere and then be ghosted?
