So yesterday I decided to go try out Osaka spa as I had not seen where anyone else had tried it yet. When I go there, the doors were locked. So I went over to try out Comeback Massage as I had been there 1 time since they opened back up and was going to be a wait then. I went in and was greeted by Coco, about 40 ish, 5'6", medium built. I paid for a 1 hour massage and she took me back to a room, then said that it would be 20 minutes before they would be ready. I said ok, since I did not have anything else going for awhile. About 15 minutes later I heard some talking and Coco came back into the room. She asked if I would like to have two girl massage for additional $30. I told her ok as I had not had a 4-hand since before Christmas. So she left with the money and then came back and started on my neck and upper back. A few minutes later the door opened and another girl cam in, but I never got to see her. A few minutes after coming in the door opened and she left out and came back that she needed to work on the person that came in. So I got my extra money back and finished the hour with Coco. Massage was good, about 7 of 10, and on the flip she motioned for HJ. I asked how much and she wanted $100, told her I only had $60 and she took it. Was ok and walked out happy. She was pushing to call next time before coming over and get 4-hand scheduled and I would be very happy afterwards. I may try next week just to see how it is and find out what the other girl looks like.
Be safe,
GH.
So how much was the house fee for a 1 hour massage at Comeback? I guess you clearly stated that she requested $100 for a handshake but accepted the $60. I hear the complaints that business is slow but $100 handshakes doesn't seem like a good business strategy to revive your customer base. After all, vaccines are available to anyone that feels the need (and I did) so the Covid upcharge should start to diminish at some point. FWIW I tried to visit Healing Touch and then Natural Health on Texas last night on my way up to Greenville. I called both before I walked in to check availability. HT said they were closing early (around 9:00) and to come back today. NH said they were closing early (around 9:15) because business was slow due to Easter and to come back today. So we hear about supply and demand driving prices. In the AMP model it seems the demand is way down but they want more than double the price for a handshake. Not sure how this plays out in a budget conscious market but about one more overpriced lackluster handshake and I will drop out of the AMP loop. Thanks for the info.
