Have two friends that sit with Bora on different occasions and they report no play whatsoever. She lives at mama's condo with other girls by Ala Moana center and I do not see her going out after work. So for Maya or her informants that lurk on this website, you don't have to worry about her and get her fired like the last one I reported on.

I had a lot of her chicken back in the '70s. It was really good. Alice started selling out of the bar she ran in the Koreamoku area. She also had a take out place where Nordstroms is today on Kapiolani. Here's the recipe if you want to try and make your own.

Chicken Alice’s Wings

5 pounds chicken wings
Vegetable oil for deep frying (Wesson brand preferred)

Batter
1/3 cup Parks brand kim chee sauce
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons salt
2 ½ cups flour
2 cups water, or more as needed

Rinse and dry chicken. Cut off and discard wing tips. Cut through joint to separate drummettes from other half of wing.

To make batter: Combine kim chee sauce, garlic, salt, and flour. Add water gradually, enough to make a thick batter.
Add chicken pieces to batter, mix well and marinate in refrigerator 2 to 3 hours.

Heat oil to 350 degrees F. Deep fry chicken pieces about 10 minutes, until chicken rises to surface and coating is deep brown.

Chik, did you get it from the starbulletin, a few years back? I made it and it comes out ok, but not like hers. I'm not so sure if it's worth the time to make.

Keeping the oil temp consistent is crucial.

Park's sauce was the key ingredient.

Many girls in there but all are barely average at best. A few Cheers Station rejects working in there too. But I see many of the girls giving the customers the gf experience at the bar.

I actually got the recipe from a local "By Request" (Star Bulletin) cookbook (Christmas present). I think you probably need a good deep fryer to get it somewhere close to Alice's. I think Alice didn't give all her tricks out.

So by the kim chee sauce, I'm guessing it isn't just really good fried chicken, but more of a korean style fried chicken. Personally, I like KJs chicken, based on price, texture, and flavor.

7. Miller lite doesn't fill you up as much as Bud light.

8. At Maya's theres these two chicks who look like dress like and laugh like each other. Bizzare!

For all you Kalihi drinker; there is a Haole cop with the traffic divison that drives a Blue and White. He patrols the Kalihi area instead of the freeways like he is suppose to be. He likes to pull over anyone that doesn't make complete stops at stop signs or red lights, no turn signals, etc. He has a girl friend that works at the Kalihi sub-station so he makes DUI arrests and hangs out with his asian girlfriend at the sub station. There have been a few complaints about this but the commanders do nothing. He likes to park in the dark along the canal just below King st and wait for guys to "roll" thur the stop sign there. My friend got busted and the guy is an ass. There are regular 911 calls inthe area and the regular patrol guys respond, and does not. He can be a hundred feet away and I has seen this guy park and just waiting for DUI. Be careful.

I can vouch for this. One time this cop was driving from Kohou St. towards Waiakamilo on that street where Cleopatra is on, and one of my friends was going out of the Cleopatra parking lot but didn't stop or signal. Next thing he knows, the cop stops him, pulls him over (for a hollywood stop and no signal) and he's busted for DUI.

I can attest to that. About a month ago, I left cleo and was heading toward cheers. Made a hollywood stop on kohou and got pulled over in front of cheers. Zack and some of the chicks were all outside watching so I guess the pig just let me go. Lucky not to get a DUI.

That cop has been pulling over people in the area for over a year now. I heard from friends that he pulls you over if you pull out of the CK and Cheers Station parking lot without probable cause. And tells you some BS that your safety check is expired, when it's not expired.

If he is telling you BS, just ask for his badge number and he should back off. If not call a cop friend to get you out of that situation if you are drunk.

Even if you don't have the badge number, just file a compliant with HPD & the Mayor's office. Internal affairs will getbinvolved. He will be in deep kimchee.

HPD used to bust people near the substation (Vegas 2) and was forced to stop due to entrapment issues.

Then when I hit waiakamilo I made a right to go mauka up the street. Haole cop in a camaro stopped me. I pulled into mcd parking lot and he grilled me. Luckily I didn't drink so he didn't catch me.

Butthead said that I made an illegal turn onto dillingham, I didn't use my turn signal to get on dillingham. Then he said that I didn't stop on dillingham, made a rolling stop. I told him that I didn't know that I had to stop when I had the green light. Also mentioned that I didn't think that not using your turn signal could get you a ticket.

He did the DUI flashlight check but I was sober. I was lucky, when I checked out the bar there weren't any nice girls so I just had a soda and left.

I think this must be the same guy, just looking for an excuse to catch a guy for DUI. Then he probably puts in the OT to go to court to get extra money.

Probably, since it's an old ongoing problem; hence the periodic busts at bars (LC, INS and NARC).

I've noticed that some of the brand new BMW's and Mercedes in that back lot belong to unfamiliar hostesses who are new to D'Amour.

It's pretty much 0.2 at KBs and VBs; VBs also have 0.4.

Although a kgirl will likely drink fast, it's not like she'll quote you 0.3 or anything. They rip you off by speed, not price, though it amounts to the same thing. If I ask the girl to slow down typically they comply, but if I detect any attitude from a guzzler she's basically fired.

Not being taken advantage of is something you need to monitor for yourself; this is part of the process of finding a hostess you would want to repeat with.

I recommend staying out of the rooms, because in that arena there's no such thing as "pay too much", although there is a $$ minimum. At that price, most of us just AMP already.

Went to Camelot the other day and sat with 2 different girls. Lexi ?? (plat blonde Twainese chic) she was hot, but pure blonde isnt my thing bought her 2 drinks, in the middle of her 2nd drink she left for about 5-10 min (prob got a customer in the back.) So I replaced her with another girl that has blonde highlights and a tight body on her, I cant rember her name though. When the 2nd girl got up to get a drink Lexi came back and sat down and was like sorry about that, I said its time for you to bounce, you've already been replaced, she never said one word, just got up and left.

All and all decent night had a lot of hotties as ussual.

Just refuse to look into the flashlight. The test is very subjective, and I do not trust their judgement. I told a cop it bothered me and blinked a lot. Then he wanted to do a roadside DUI test. I refused that too, but said I would take a breathalyzer test.

The idiot called the station and another cop brought the instrument. They were real annoyed when I blew a 0.00. simply refuse to trust their abilities to do a fair roadside test. If you are tired and have a sinus infection you could easily fail.

I don't know if the are actual sisters or have BFs but they didn't necessarily get in trouble with LC. D'amour got raided about 2-3 months ago, LC wanted to see ID from them but they said they didn't have IDs and claim to be visiting from Korea and was not working there. The waiter got the third degree for not carding the girls to "drink" there. LC wrote their names for record, they were let go. Mama got fines from other girls not having yellow cards.

Btw, I think it's Jenny. She drives a white Lexus IS.
