The presumption is that the two bacteria are "85 to 90%" similar and as a result, it seems very possible now to create a specific Gonorrhea vaccine. So good news for mongers! If you can vaccinate against HIV, Gonorrhea and Chlamydia then the world becomes a lot less risky.

When I first heard of these years ago I just couldn't take it seriously but these things are getting more and more popular. It will be interesting to see how it plays out when they're readily available in the states.
