Why after several months do you find it necessary to provide a disclaimer at the end of your posts now? Is there something I am missing here??? This is not intended to be a criticism.
While LE probably reads these posts or is aware of this forum, I have never heard that any member's ISP has been tracked to their home address and/or busted for posting here (with the possible exception of those SW's who provided specific contact information when advertising on Craigslist).
Solicitation for prostitution is a misdemeanor and I seriously doubt that LE has either the time, inclination, nor resources to pursue our members. I am sure that Jackson also has "safeguards" in place to protect our privacy. Lastly, I doubt that anything we write in our posts would stand up in court.
I equate this disclaimer with us playing the "are you a cop" game when picking up an SW. Everyone knows that's bogus and a waste of time. If the SW gets into your car and you drive off to your spot, it's highly unlikely that she's a cop.

The recent Craigslist bust kind of spooked me. I worry that LE will see me standing outside of my vehicle taking pictures and pull me into their world. At that point, from pass experience with the court system, I have learned that there is but one thing that might help you - a good lawyer. In most cases if the monger just keeps his mouth close and says nothing incriminating LE will let him go. I am wondering (after the Craigslist bust) if my postings could be considered incrimination evidence. A young prosecutor could easily connect me with the vehicle seen in my pictures. I am not sure if the disclaimer would help, but it could not hurt.
I still use the, “are you a cop,” game when picking up a SW. Why? Cause it can’t hurt.

Pursue is the key word here. Sure they may not be out there looking for specific members of this or any board. But if the opportunity presented itself and a known member of any board was picked up and could be connected to an internet source, I am certain LE would act - Especially around election time.

All this recent chatter about disclaimers prods me to ask a question that has been on my mind. It has occurred to me that posters on this board often note heavy LE presence but I cannot recall anyone ever posting about an actual bust. There were one or two who posted that they'd been pulled over, but no busts reported.
Has anyone ever been busted for mongering on the K? What happened?
