Ok guys I've spent the last year rtff, I have learned alot from some of you guys on this site. I'm a veteran monger with 26 years in the hobby. I've noticed no one ever talks much about getting busted. I've managed to make it through all my years in the hobby scott free so far (knock on wood) and have done so on instinct and experience and I'd say mostly luck. And I say luck because I know I came close once. My one brush with a decoy was about 13 years ago on eight mile near the americana. Saw a TGTBT chick waving and had to flip flop and come back to make the scoop. When I got to her I had the window down door unlocked. She wouldn't get in, and this concerned me, she kept trying to get me to meet her at her room at the nearby notel. I looked her square in the eye and said "your a cop" and I split. Came back up a side street back to eight to get out of dodge and while going back the other way I see leo hauling a poor brotha in cuffs. Also had a unmarked suv follow me untill I headed out of the area. The whole thing was un setteling to say the least. I never went back to SW's again until the recent fatima craze. And I still don't have a real desire to hang in the ghetto looking for SW's.

With all that said, and I hope this is not a bad idea I'd like to hear other people's experiences on getting busted. How it happened what led up to it and the end result. Because after all these years I'm still unsure of all the traps and setups, I go pureley on instinct. I've had my share of being ripped off, robbed, tricked hustled. You name it I've had happen (well almost) I found some stuff in the forum going back to 2010 about some guys talking about how much cash it cost them to get popped but none talked of the trap they fell for. I for one think that stuff is the most usefull info out there. If anyone would like to share their bust story I'd love to hear it either public or pm. Keep it real and safe keep it real safe.

Even though I'm single, I'd be intrested in knowing how someone who got busted dealt with a wife or gf after the fact although I can assume the outcome of that one. Still I knew a guy years ago that got all coked up called a sp up had her come over to a freinds house and he paid with his credit card. DOH! His wife pays all the bills. To top it off he never got it up because of the blow. LOL. Believe it or not she didn't leave him, she reformed him into a respectable church going man. They are still together to this day.

Yes. Was pinched approx 11 years ago and used personel ties to get charges dropped before any mailing went out to home address (of course lost the $900 "bounty" I paid to get vehicle back after the pinch)

Thanks[/QUOTE]I do agree with everything Mw said except sometimes the cop will show up in court. I know mine did when I got a LIPIO with known Prostitute ticket. Since it is a misdermeanor they handle it in traffic court but you can and will receive a court appointed lawyer. I pleaded not guilty per lawyer and she said it is a good chance cop will not show. I went to court for third time and there was only one cop in the court room and the court was over flowing with people. Before court started the judge asked the officer what case he was there for and he said it was for MY case (lucky Me). I wrote about it in the SW section. I actually prayed about that case and by the time they got to me which basically I was the last case the prosecuting attorney had left the court room and the cop for my case. My attorney stated that the prosecutor suggested to the judge that the case be dropped but didn't give a reason and the judge reluctantly dropped the case but not before giving me a leture so prayer worked. Moral is don't 100% count on the cop not showing, use the court appointed lawyer if you need to save money. Just tell them you can't afford one, they didn't check to see if I could.[/QUOTE]You can get a temporary hold placed on your personel mail to be held at the post office to be picked up in person. I think up to 6 weeks worth. Or get a po box for 6 months and have all mail with your name on it forwarded to your po box while everything else goes to your home still. No guarantee 1 or 2 things won't slip through but its the best shot at hiding mail from the s / o.

Some district courts send notifications of traffic court dates by mail.
