You used the word "seems" too many times to make a definitive argument against using a particular source. Your post, even when accounting for your engaging "in a little hyperbole," is still highly misleading - and wrong. For one, there have been more reports in the Craigslist forum than in the Massage Parlor Forum in general. So there would naturally be more negative reports there. I'm also not sure how you've come to the conclusion that AMPs are a sure thing, when that forum has had its share of bad stories as well. To say that a particular source should be avoided because of the potential for a bad encounter, is to say that we should all stop paying for sex; and if you're of THAT mindset, then this may not be the ideal website for you to visit.

Inaccurate observations and percentages that we pull out of asses don't do the board any good. Let's make sure we know what we're talking about before we stand on our soapboxes here.

Gentlement, I think we all can agree that Frosty Man had made a good point. I have had a few (very few) lame experiences at AMPs over the years, but never ran into anything that was dangerous or disgusting. You've got to worry about both of those things in CL if you don't do your homework. The very worst thing you have to worry about at an AMP is an overpriced massage from a middle aged Asian woman. Let's leave it at that and move on, shall we?

I frequent the gold spa to relax my mind and peter. LOL. But I have strayed away and only found disappointing spas instead. I found a few apartment AMPs that seem to be ok. I did post one about the THAI one and it was by far the best apartment AMP and for a 1. 5 it def makes better. Its right by the pep boys on buford. I have sent that number to like 50 people so please don't blow me up asking for it. So if your a senior member and somehow missed the post I'll hook it up. But other than that I'm not too into regular members asking dumb questions. Search back to find my story or review. BUt my question is. "Are there any other AMPs that are of the same quality as GOLD?"

Gag - do you think that there's been a very significant dropoff in the quality and reliability in the providers that advertise on CL in the past 18 months? I do, but that's the essential question, and opinions will differ.

About 3 months ago I vowed to quite browsing the ads on there myself, since you have to sift through an ever-increasing amount of assorted riff raff, garbage, tricksters, wanna-bee hustlers, trannies, lying fatties, serial over-posters, serial re-posters, and other assorted junk on there for my taste. I've been focusing on the Atlanta backpage site.

No we can't all agree that Frosty Man made a good point. It was a terrible argument...Giving up CL in favor of AMPs doesn't work for everybody. Otherwise there would only be a Massage Parlor Forum.

I cannot personally attest to a dropoff in reliability, because my experiences with CL have been the same since I've been using it. I will say that there are more posters, which likely means more unreliable providers. Far more $50 and $60 providers than there were this time a couple summers ago. More to sift through? Of course? Reason to stop using it? Absolutely not. When no one posts in the Craigslist Review forum anymore, Frosty Man can dust off his soapbox and stand on it again.

Hadn't seen any reviews so I TOFTT today. For those who are unfamiliar this spa recently opened near royal. I've passed it a few times but never saw any cars there.

I arrived on a Saturday evening and, again, there weren't any cars there. There's no rear parking and you're pretty much out there in the open. It's also next to a Buddhist temple (? ). On the inside it's very plain but not necessarily bad. Mama is pretty nice but she asked about other spas. I guess they're still trying to get intel on the competition. They're asking. 4 for a hh. Not bad at all.

When the girl walked in I was pleasantly surprised. Being a new place, I expected the worse. The girl's name was Kim and she says she worked at Gold. That may or may not be true because she wasn't THAT goodlooking. She was slightly tanned, short even by asian standards and had some nice enhanced D's or big C's. Nice little slim body. That's about all there is to say about her that's positive.

I'll just cut to the chase and say I'm staying away from this place. I'll explain why and you guys can make the call from there.

The Spa itself:
- (yes i'm using bullet points)
- out in the open without rear parking
- hot as hell in there, no A/C
- no shower or none offered to me

The Girl:
- 7/8/3 face/body/attitude
- typical Gold attitude without the actual looks or extras
- wanted $.6 ($$ total) for "work"
- actually validated that they charge more based on ethnicity
- very lazy massage
- didn't take off her clothes
- all around stuck up attitude

Mind you, I'm not a guy who goes to AMPs for friends or love. Still, I expect the girl to at least be friendly. This place is strictly here for your money but without actually making your experience worthwhile. More importantly, this girl is trying to make this area like Gold spa is, pricewise. When we were discussing donation, she mentioned how she's from Gold and that's what the prices are. And that's all it takes is for a few girls to migrate to the other AMPs and raise the prices. I know some of you guys don't care and she mentioned that some of you SOB's are paying her $$, but places that don't offer quality service while asking for top dollar will unjustifiably raise the prices everywhere. Just my 2 cents.

Again. I went there today. Only 1 girl working, decent body and fake tits. Nipples were kinda huge and didn't shave the box. So I can say I was not 100 percnet in. But it started with a legit nice massage and back crack great convo and her attempt at some humor, which was cute. Then the deed. It was all good and prettty much what ever I wanted. The service is great but I really would like this guy to get some young ones. I enjoy the 18 and just turned 18 girsl that are tiny and petite. Call me weird. But its what does me good. Anywho. The place is better than gold. No pressure or time limit and its a full service. Shower, massage release. The dude that runs the AMP said 2 new girls are coming in on Monday. Can't wait to see thema and I will report.

I do not post often enough. From time to time, I will give my opinion on places that I have TOFTT. Use the information as you see fit. These are my experiences and I will not continue a long drawn out debate.

First, Massage Aloha, I visited and the quality of talent was sub-standard. Long story short, it was a waste. Like mentioned by an earlier poster, Ester is the only decent looking but service is below average. Nice girls, but looks and service is lacking. I thought I had found a place that had nice Chicas but I will continue my search.

VIP on McFarland. I had previously visited and had a decent experience. The price was standard. The second visit was terrible. I was greeted by a very curvy, shapely lady which was a pleasant surprise. She has tattoos on her lower back. She started out being very rude but in a joking manner. I sort of liked it at first and just thought this was going to lead to a good experience. Well it went down hill from there. I will never go back.
