Your response is simply "Am I suspected of a crime?" If the officer says "Yes", you ask whether you are being arrested and for what crime? If he says yes, then to assert the 5th and tell him to take it up with your lawyer. If he says "no", then ask if you are free to go.
If the first question ("Am I suspected of a crime?") is answered in the negative, then simply say "Then you will not mind if go about my business?"
Most likely at that point the officer will ask your name. You repeat: "Am I suspected of a crime?"
Simply put it is not a crime to be walking through a parking lot and you are not required to show your identification to an officer or answer any questions. Ever. They will threaten you, bully you, and everything else. Your response is "Am I suspected of a crime?" and when they fail to say yes, say "Then I am free to go?"
