I have been a fan of this long legged Goddess for several years. I have even vouched recently. Dreams sometimes turn into nightmares. My nightmare had me meeting at a colored roof. For testing, there are several guidelines to be followed. First, if you become symptomatic, get tested (symptoms of STD however never start within 24-36 hours of exposure). Second, for common bacterial STDs (gonorrhea, chlamydia, NGU) a test at 3 days will give reliable results. For herpes testing is not recommend unless there are symptoms and the symptoms of HSV typically start between 4 and 10 days after exposure. Syphilis is very rare and not a major concern. For HIV blood tests are the way to go, and results after 4 weeks are typically reliable although it may take up to 8 weeks for results to be 100% reliable in rare situations.

I recommend getting test at least once a year during yearly checkups regardless of any 'accidents'.

[B]Keep in mind test results may come in the mail, and Kentucky requires all positives to be reported by your doctor.[/B] There are ways to get tested, and keep your privacy too while still letting your past partners know if needed. The worst part about me getting that was I felt fine and stopped taking the last few days of pills. I shouldn't have done that, because it came back on me. STD's are real. There are some mongers from days past that I would give my opinion about BBFS and I haven't seen them posting on here anymore. I think that along with passing info about providers, we should pass info that keeps us healthy.

I've had other scares since then and I'm more or less just a lurking pair of eyes now. Spot on the description given for time frames but for hiv it's more around 3 months for a negative confirmation especially if you have any other medical problem that can immunosuppress you like MS, lupus, or any auto immune disorder it can be up to 6 months for a definitive negative. Herpes is also not really tested for especially if you've ever had a cold sore or shingles as they'll both show up as a type of HSV. Feel free to pm me if you want as I'm not a doctor but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night.
