I used to like hunting during the day but the problem is where to take your finds. I've tried a few $10 rooms and have decided that doesn't work for me. The Carlyle isn't much better. It is off of the street, relatively safe and cleaner than most trash dumps. The biggest problem with the Carlyle is, as you implied, the extra cost of getting a girl to travel the distance, added to the $20 cost for an hour room; can turn a $20 car date to a $50 or $60 dollar event. And what if the girl turns out to be a dud?
There are other options. I would not recommend taking a girl back to your residents, unless you have totally prepared. The problems inherit in taking girls home are endless. There are other motels, hotels and Inns in the area. I have on a couple of occasions taken girls to the Budget Inn in NJ. A short stay. 3 hours, for $40 isn't bad as long as you are certain about the girl's performance.
It is not for me, but, there is always BackPage where I have noticed an increase in the number of girls who are offering $60 dollar incall specials.
