I must agree with you, I just returned from Tijuana, spent the night at Rizo de Oro as Casadas was completely booked. All in all had a nice time as I have a very passionate 30+ yo, not usually my type, but the most passionate, sexy, sex-craved woman I have had the pleasure to make love to in 5 or 10 year, that's saying a lot but lets leave this for another discussion.
It was packed last night, many SW out, I mean lined up the whole alley long, new girls in every club, the closest thing to standing room only in AB and HK that I have seen in 10+ years, must be 4th of July, but anyway I agree that once you consider everything there are no bargains in Tijuana.
Parking over by Jack in the Box costs minimum $50. Up to $80. For 24 hours. The drive from LA round trip is 260 miles so factor in $45. For gas, a one night stay at Casadas or BT is $70. To $115. Then the cost of drinks for the girls (if this is your thing) can easily add $100. To the tab then the cost of the ST girl is lets say $80. So one girl and one night stay and I just counted up about $300.
I'm rethinking the real costs and not to mention the hassle of traffic down and back to LA (2. 5 hours each way traffic jams excluded) along with the risks of all the damn Tijuana beggars and other risks and for $300. You can have a beautiful young HX girl to suit your fancy!
TTM.
I'm so pissed reading this because I was going to go down Saturday myself but opted instead to make it a Sunday trip. Even last night I noticed a lot more people than usual. I agree that this most def has to do with the Fourth of July. Parking sucked. I usually park my car somewhere in San ysidro within walking distance to the border but there wasn't much street parking to be had. Got a spot in that lot up by the 805 frwy and walked all the way to the zona. Made it a short trip, maybe 5 hours but I'm so wishing I had gone down on Saturday. Ohh well. I do feel bad for all the mongers who come down from LA. Makes me appreciate living 20 minutes from the border. I am curious TTM what the cost of the room was on sat at rizo de oro. Come Labor Day weekend I got to do an overnighter. Moe.
