This place is a hole in the wall but they have great bread which is paramount to a great sandwich. They are on Snyder and the RR tracks in S. Philly behind the Lowes, plenty of parking and fast.

I agree with Big Daddy: John's Roast Pork shack serves an excellent cheese steak. In fact a few years back a food writer in the Inquirer awarded John's the #1 spot in his survey of Philadelphia cheesesteaks. They were mobbed after that. They now even stay open till 7:00 PM to accomodate the early dinner crowd. I had their signature roast pork sandwich with onions last week and it was great. They have a nicely spiced sauce they cook it in and it comes out juicy and delicious.
P.S. You go there for the food, not the decor!

That being said, most people in Philly pretty much eat the cheese steak that is close by and are not really interested in the cheese steak culture nor are they interested in comparing to see what the best is. It's typically the tourists that ask this question. Also, most serious food lovers in Philly are not even fans of the cheese steak. Sure they may just eat a few casually.
I've tried all the famous places but I have to admit that a good cheese steak can be found by accident at a non famous joint that has no reviews. That being said, the cheese steak is an over rated sandwich but if a tourist eats one like once a year, I can see how it can be enjoyable.[/QUOTE]All steaks are same unless you go to some low grade joint!
Hello Philadelphia Mongers!
I am making an extended business trip (2 weeks) to your fair city in the very near future and wanted to see if any one could help me with a referral. I'd like to find someone that I can see on multiple evenings while I'm there (maybe even up for dinner / drinks too), is mature (35+), is skilled in the art of kink (nothing crazy. But a little dirty), knows how to smile / fun personality, and has reasonable expectations. I generally like women of all races and don't mind a few curves (not BBW though). I really appreciate the help and look forward to the experience.

I'll also be in Philly the first week of Oct. I'll be staying in a hotel downtown like the Radisson Blu or similar. I've been reading thru your forums and from what I can tell it's either AMP or $500/ hr in Philly. I won't be renting a car since I will be within walking distance of my business, thus can't travel to an AMP. I'm not familiar with the area, as this is my first visit.
I'd appreciate it if someone would point in the direction of a good time I could arrange for my time there. Prefer to host due to lack of car and knowledge of area, but am willing to walk nearby as well. I'd be happy to return the favor if ever traveling to NC.
