The particular massage therapist isn't local, It's someone I've seen a couple times on business trips. Additionally, test results from doctor were negative across the board. Seems I have chronic prostatitis (not related to STDs). Lucky me!

My very healthy, athletic son got MRSA from a bad scrape on his elbow he got sliding into second base during an out of town travel baseball game.
In talking to the specialist we took him to, the Dr said MRSA is very easily transitted from one person to another. He said the MRSA most likely entered his body through the scrape from a lunchroom table or armrest.
So he was 13 at the time, extremely healthy and a virgin. I can only imagine how easy it could be to get it at an AMP. The Dr said the virus can live for days on any surface indoors and even outdoors.
At least you didn't get MRSA.

I posted this about five weeks back, but I did get MRSA on my leg, which turned very bad. I almost lost my leg. Happened almost two months ago, and I am still recovering. A scratch on my leg turned into an abcess. This happened a couple of days after a trip to City Massage on 31st Street. I don't know that I got it there, but I know I am not going back. Justa an FYI.

Glad you are revovering. People take note of this, may be the biggest threat out there.
MRSA can and does kill healthy poeple.
