Discourage casual quickies, and discourage a level of clientelle I don't want to deal with. Here's the skinny from my point of view. Stay with me, I like metaphors:
You start a bakery in a town that only serves peanut butter cookies and you're putting out chocolate chip cookies. It's kind of a novelty since most the cookies around town are pilsbury dough and other cheap imitations. You make your cookies from scratch and you don't skimp but serve up high quality ingredients. Everyone in town wants a free sample cause they are used to the cheap imitation cookies. Since you spend so much on ingredients you don't have the time or desire to try and compete with the cheap cookie sellers. People who have poverty consciousness have other consciousness issues and you aren't trying to invite the local homeless population to your doorstep begging for cookies.
Anyway, in THIS market I think I'm very fairly priced and in line with my own personal goals which is to not be a rotating door. In LA or a hipper city I could charge twice. Just because I live here and am not "on tour" doesn't mean I don't compete in that category, and I charge way less than touring providers usually do when I could probably get away with it. The reason I actually have such low prices is because I want to develop ongoing friendships with people who appreciate good cookies and reliability over pot brownies and a belly ache.
I'm sure you wouldn't undercharge your own services, no matter what the local market was passing off as "acceptable"

I actually wouldn't trust any of the reviews on that site to give a good representation of what you will get for your $. Anyone, including people who might feel slighted because I won't meet them again, or chicas who see me as competition can say anything they want on there with no verification. Stick with T E R for reading reviews if you are going to see anyone. If they aren't on T E R I wouldn't trust them. You have to start somewhere, so I learned a lot through trial and error. I only use BP to lead people to my website because apparently that's the only place a lot of people know to look. It's definitely not the best place and I get way too much crazies from there so I stopped putting out my number.
Just a nice girl, trying to do a good job in a man's world. And enjoying it to your benefit. I look forward to meeting more gentlemen with a refined taste for the best cookies and who realize substitutions are never as good as the real thing, no matter how cheap they are.

I have put the link in correctly, more than once. The site breaks it. Because they are trying not to advertise for another site. In fact it's the problem with all the potential places to advertise. BP breaks the link to my personal website. Ect. There's no one in this field trying to make it better for everyone. I just told you in my essay below why I don't allow reviews on NNL. None of the people submitting reviews are verified. It means anyone can pretend to be a person leaving a review. People who haven't seen me ect. And on the flip, girls can leave any kind of reviews about themselves. Also unmodified.
T E R does a really good job of verifying that reviews are legit.
Since I just came on the market, and don't see a lot of clients, it's going to take a while to have a list of reviews. If you look on T E R under ladies who have a lot of reviews they have been doing it for years. And their reviews are spread apart by months. Because people tend to rush to do shit when they have a complaint. But if they have great and satisfying experiences, they aren't in a hurry to tell everyone. A few people have literally told me they planned to review me and haven't followed through. Also my main clients want to keep me to themselves. Ha.
It's easy to find me on T E R. Just type in my name on a provider search.
I advertise on NNL because if you do a google search for providers in AK it's the first site that comes up. And tracking on my website shows there is a lot of traffic from there. Doesn't mean I should allow unverified yay-hoos to say whatever they want when it's an industry full of malarkey. Can ya dig?

IMHO, Starr offers an approach that is rarely found in Anchorage: a courtesan experience. The thoughts that Starr has shared with us this week are articulate and reflect a thoughtful provider. But did you read my last post? ANYONE can leave a review there and nobody checks who the reviewers are. Great reviews can come from the ladies themselves. I'm not saying they are, I'm just saying. If I was in the market for something, I'd read reviews by reviewers I know for a FACT are legit. You can be assured there are not fake anonymous reviews on the T E R site. NNL: YMMV.
So get your assurances from other hobbyists, I'm not saying not to. Just make sure you know they are hobbyists who have actually seen the provider. Two hobbyists have posted on here about me that have actually seen me-ask them: one used the title "jaguar" like I had on an ad but I took that ad down because I no longer give out my number. The other is Whitney25 who, other than saying I am overpriced (he also spent 3 hours with me, go figure) also gives a favorable review and if you want more info you can PM he says, well he left saying he was very satisfied and that he would leave a T E R review but hasn't happened, the only reason I found out I was being reviewed here is because a screening form came in saying they heard about me from here, which means I'm going to make it my business to correct misinformation. It's your opinion to think my price is too steep but it won't change the way I operate and I already over-expanded on that topic. Short version: no drug problem, take care of my body, upper tier looks= hot commodity.
NNL, I wouldn't trust anything on there, not even me if you don't know me. That's why I provide all the links to my website and verified review site.
Well anyway, I am always on the defense in this world because people can say what they want and you know for a fact it's not the experience they were just raving about while they were having your attention lavished on them. Let me leave you with this thought: if I was the one reviewing the clients instead of the other way around, it would be ugly, ha ha.

Believe me there is a market, or rather perhaps, I am filling a niche that was previously only being filled by rare touring providers and actually I live here so if you do feel like having an upscale experience, I'll be around.
Also I think it's an oversight on the part of many ladies to not get involved in the forums. Since half the world exists in internet land, it's a nice little opportunity to connect with community and you can get to know my personality a little. First of all, WOW, there hasn't been this much traffic on this site in one day since I joined this site.
Here are my thoughts on Starr.
1. I believe she is the real deal.
2. I believe she has the right to charge whatever she wants.
3. I believe we have the right to pass if we don't like her fees or rules.
I may or may not choose to see her in the future. I think she is intriguing. I enjoy older providers who connect better with older guys such as myself. (Of course I also enjoy an occasional 20+ when the opportunity arises. I don't completely agree with her about NNL. I have given reviews of a number of providers on NNL and I do believe over time they help legitimize the provider. For a number of years before I found another site, if a NNL advertiser didn't have any reviews, I wouldn't even consider her. I never trusted craigslist or BP. Now, I use a combination of sites to feel comfortable, this being one of them.
Starr, I do have a few comments about one of your "rules" that I take issue with. (Not an attack, just a disagreement, I think you seem lovely and intelligent).
I strongly disagree with your rule about time. I have seen many providers over the years and one of the best recommendations about them is "not a clock watcher". That means, if you pay for 1 hour and it goes over, you feel special and appreciate being treated like someone they enjoyed being with. It almost guarantees a return visit. You specifically say that it is the clients responsibility to keep track of time and you will charge if it goes over. I don't know about anyone else, but I take my watch off. If I have to keep glancing at it, I'm not enjoying myself. If I am told,"were running out of time" I have no problem with that either, especially if given enough notice to be aware of how to use the remaining time.
At any rate, welcome to Alaska and the time may come that I may give you a call. I have spent more $$ when intrigued enough although, I usually spend less. I hope you do well and stick around. I haven't had a "regular Alaskan provider" I have been totally thrilled with since Jenna Jansma left town a few years ago.

For a fee sounds reasonable for people who don't want to do the online screening. The amount seems a bit high though. Yeah, there is a lot of information on my site, sorry about that. I get tired of answering the same questions again and again, and if someone is really interested, they will read everything or at least skim.
The exorbitant fee to meet in person is in some ways to discourage having to do this. I had thought about how to work the fee into the first session but didn't come up with anything that didn't in the end, waste more of my precious time for no compensation. Just to reiterate, I have a busy busy life outside of this little side project and there hardly seems time left for the things I do to recharge myself like running and hotbaths.
Also I need at least a picture to set up the in person meeting so the client can be assured if I am meeting them they are virtually approved on my end and for me, I've never disapointed anyone I've met (so far.
The picture is less of a "test" as you called it, and more of a willingness to reveal yourself A. Gives me more security and B. Also I get a better sense about people that I have at least seen in 2D, it's easier for me to tune into their energy field and get an idea of if we'll click or not. I have never been wrong about this when seeing a picture. I have been wrong trying to do it over the phone. One of my best customers I almost didn't see because of his voice, and I've been sorry about people I've met as well. My clients age range runs the gamet but mostly is over 40. Weight does not bother me but truth be told, I do tend to shy away from unruly facial hair. I love a clean face and good hygiene is important of course.
If the picture doesn't look like the person I meet, I will leave. Just like you have the option to do on your end. For me, that is a safety red flag, for you (I mean you in general, not you specifically) well. No one wants to screw jaba the hut even if it's a bargain, LOL.

Time is a courtesy. No one has ever called me a clock watcher and no one ever will. My sessions almost always go over, especially with people I click with and if we are chatting away and I don't have anything to do, no biggie. I never schedule back to back but occasionally I have other things to do and I have had to say,"I got to get going" if we've gone well over the prearranged time.
People don't usually compensate me for the extra time and it doesn't really bother me. Like if I'm getting a massage and they go overtime, I know they did it because they want to and don't expect me to pay more, but I usually leave them a better tip because it shows that they care more about giving me good service than just getting the job done.
I appreciate it when people leave a tip, it shows that they respect my time and also value me above and beyond what I have already required for our time.
I have that in place as a point for people to pay attention to the value of my time-and to remind them they may want to come prepared to extend our time if time permits (10-15 mins, no biggie-30 and up, you are on the clock, ya dig?). When we are using a service that has an hourly rate, we should know ahead of time that we are responsible for ALL of the time we spent there. Not just the hour we first scheduled if you decided to extend your time. Most people are very considerate of my time because they value their own time and know the worth of it. I will only need to pay attention to time when it's very obvious it's being taken advantage of, and that's rare. If someone comes in and rattles on for 20 minutes over and I have to ask him to politely depart and he calls me a clock watcher, well that's a douche. I have shit to do too.

My take on this is that if you don't like her fees or terms / conditions. Don't contract for her services. Going on a Ferrari site and telling everyone the new 458 should cost less isn't very helpful to anyone. (no intended implication that she's a "ferrari of providers". I have never seen her. Just another "bad analogy".) If she's right, and there is a market, then she'll be fine. If she's wrong, the prices will either come down, or she'll go somewhere else. That's the free market.
I actually think she may get a following. When I come the ANC, I know it's hard to find a quality provider, unlike other cities I visit (Seattle, for example). Maybe this is the start of a new thing for Anchorage. By the way, not white knight here. I'm not likely to see her, but for my own reasons.

I do not know what you look like or anything about you. It was your words in your posts that gave me an indication of your unattractive attitude.
My price limits were set before you came along and will be in place after you are used up.
Another indication or your toxic personality is that you resort to calling me names and assigning behaviors to me that you have no way knowing are true or not. No amount of physical beauty can make up for a black, cancerous and unattractive personality.
Whether it is confidence or arrogance is irrelevant, if it is perceived as arrogance then you have lost customers (I. E. MONEY ).
