From Starr's point of view.
Discourage casual quickies, and discourage a level of clientelle I don't want to deal with. Here's the skinny from my point of view. Stay with me, I like metaphors:
You start a bakery in a town that only serves peanut butter cookies and you're putting out chocolate chip cookies. It's kind of a novelty since most the cookies around town are pilsbury dough and other cheap imitations. You make your cookies from scratch and you don't skimp but serve up high quality ingredients. Everyone in town wants a free sample cause they are used to the cheap imitation cookies. Since you spend so much on ingredients you don't have the time or desire to try and compete with the cheap cookie sellers. People who have poverty consciousness have other consciousness issues and you aren't trying to invite the local homeless population to your doorstep begging for cookies.
Anyway, in THIS market I think I'm very fairly priced and in line with my own personal goals which is to not be a rotating door. In LA or a hipper city I could charge twice. Just because I live here and am not "on tour" doesn't mean I don't compete in that category, and I charge way less than touring providers usually do when I could probably get away with it. The reason I actually have such low prices is because I want to develop ongoing friendships with people who appreciate good cookies and reliability over pot brownies and a belly ache.
I'm sure you wouldn't undercharge your own services, no matter what the local market was passing off as "acceptable"
"did she really charge ____ to meet someone for screening?"
My time is always a service. You can screen comfortably and for free online and it's very easy. The in person screening with a fee is for internet phobias and people who want to waste my time ie."can we meet in person first?" yes, for a fee. I don't have time to meet everyone who wants to meet me. I'm not scrambling for business because I don't have a drug problem.
"I saw a not positive review on NNL"
Yeah, by someone I've never met with an anonomous handle. It was a complete fabrication which you would only know if you had seen me. I actually wouldn't trust any of the reviews on that site to give a good representation of what you will get for your $. Anyone, including people who might feel slighted because I won't meet them again, or chicas who see me as competition can say anything they want on there with no verification. Stick with T E R for reading reviews if you are going to see anyone. If they aren't on T E R I wouldn't trust them. You have to start somewhere, so I learned a lot through trial and error. I only use BP to lead people to my website because apparently that's the only place a lot of people know to look. It's definitely not the best place and I get way too much crazies from there so I stopped putting out my number.
Just a nice girl, trying to do a good job in a man's world. And enjoying it to your benefit. I look forward to meeting more gentlemen with a refined taste for the best cookies and who realize substitutions are never as good as the real thing, no matter how cheap they are.
Cheers!
Starr.
The good: Very sweet and authentic, nice looking, nice body, great service, good times all around.
The less good: The $$$. She's seriously overpriced for this market.
I think she is trying to discourage casual quickies and have a few high quality regulars who have deeper pockets.
Seniors, PM with questions and for details.
Whittney25's word is gold
No offense, but how come all the other providers have great reviews on NNL?
I would prefer my assurances to come from other hobbyist to be honest.
For what it's worth, I believe Whittney's review below should satisfy any doubters on Starr's quality of service. IMHO, Starr offers an approach that is rarely found in Anchorage: a courtesan experience. The thoughts that Starr has shared with us this week are articulate and reflect a thoughtful provider. The question we need to answer is whether or not there is a market for such upscale companionship in Anchorage. I hope Starr is successful and becomes a frequent flier to the Great Land. We all benefit when there is a diverse and stimulating range of choices in the Hobby. Rather than being unhappy that we want her but can't afford her (if that is indeed the case) , let's welcome her with some encouragement. Be assured there are plenty of oil executives, lawyers, doctors and IBEW electricians around town that can handle the bank.
Starr just went Black Hole
There's a difference between arrogance and confidence.
The good news is, I don't stoop for cheapskates so we never have to worry about dealing with each other.
And since you don't know me (you've only read words I've written and applied whatever tone you want in your mind while reading) you actually have no experience on which to base your assessment of me.
Anyway, keep picking up hookers if that makes you happy, do it. No one is telling you not to. I don't take money from assholes anyway. That's what screening is for. Meeting a couple too many of guys of like you put my whole process into place, including the price.
Good luck out there.
Ladies of the Evening are like food. There's fine dining and there's comfort food and many things in between. Depends on your taste. However, there's crap on a plate pretending to be something it isn't. Got to say I agree with Cobalt and Magoo on this. This episode is quite possibly the worst case of cranal anal inversion from a provider I've seen or heard in a long time. Sniff sniff
