Same old bait-and-switch from the same old liars

The officials were investigating allegations of human trafficking and prostitution at Sun Studio, also known as Sun Spa, in Wellesley and Bodywork in Revere.
Yeah, right. It's the same old bait-and-switch that those clowns used in Providence a few years back (and again recently). They use them everywhere. The URL that Oldmonger gave up there says "feds-state-seek-arrests-sex-slavery-operation"; the story itself says "officials were investigating allegations of human trafficking and prostitution"; but there is NO, ZERO, ZILCH, ZIP information ANYWHERE IN THIS STORY to indicate *where* the "allegations" came from, or *why* they should be believed. All there is, is crap like the last paragraph:
“Today’s arrests are the result of the great partnership HSI has with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office and Massachusetts State Police in our unyielding resolve to bring human traffickers to justice,” said Bruce M. Foucart, special agent in charge of HSI Boston. “Human trafficking can exist anywhere, as shown with this investigation. HSI will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to ensure that those who commit these crimes are held accountable for their actions.”
Agent Fouc-yourself-art, I don't doubt you that "Human trafficking can exist anywhere", but it has NOT been "shown with this investigation" as reported so far, and I'll bet you a shiny new dime that it NEVER WILL be "shown with this investigation", just like it WAS NEVER "shown" with the Providence investigations-not ONE "human trafficking" arrest, let alone conviction, EVER came out of those.
Don't your balls get a bit hot, Bruce, when your pants are on fire all the time like that?

BOSTON —
Prosecutors allege a Randolph man provided prostitutes for customers along the Interstate 95 corridor as far as Maryland.
A state-wide grand jury on Tuesday indicted Ryan XXXXX. 31, on two counts of trafficking of persons for sexual servitude, conspiracy to traffic persons for sexual servitude and deriving support from prostitution.
XXXXX, who is also known as Real and Tyrell, also faces charges of rape and failure to register as a sex offender.
'We allege that this defendant recruited women into prostitution and forced at least one of them to engage in commercial sex, keeping the profits from this activity, ' Attorney General Martha Coakley said in a statement. 'These charges remind us how crucial the human trafficking statute is so we can now hold individuals accountable for this egregious behavior. '
XXXXX was arrested in Warwick, R. I. On Sept. 23 for a probation violation and is now being held without bail in Massachusetts, according to Coakley's office.
A probation violation hearing for XXXXXX is scheduled for Oct. 18. He is due to be arraigned on the charges in Middlesex and Norfolk Superior Courts on dates to be determined.
The investigation began in July after the attorney general's office was alerted by the Tewksbury Police Department. Prosecutors allege that XXXXX recruited women into prostitution and forced at least one of them to provide sexual services for a fee in hotels in several Massachusetts communities, namely Tewksbury and Braintree.
Prosecutors allege that XXXXX posted or directed advertisements to be posted offering sexual services on websites known to advertise prostitution. Authorities allege that he transported the women in his vehicle, harbored them in hotels, and monitored the money being earned, ultimately collecting the proceeds. He allegedly would frequently use violence and threats of violence.
The investigation revealed that XXXXX offered the services at locations in other states including Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Evidence indicates that XXXXX traveled up and down the East Coast, usually along the Interstate 95 corridor, and typically never spent more than one or two nights at a location, prosecutors said.
XXXXX allegedly failed to register as a sex offender by not providing a secondary address and not disclosing his travel to other states.
Authorities also allege that Duntin raped one of the women and used threats and violence to do so.
Assisting state police assigned to the district attorney's office, USA Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations, and the Tewksbury Police Department. Assistant Attorney General Deb Bercovitch is handling the case and the investigation is ongoing.

Another arrest made in effort to rid Brockton of prostitution
Another arrest made in effort to rid Brockton of prostitution.
BROCKTON — Posted Oct 17,2013.
Police are calling it part of their ongoing campaign against prostitution in the city.
Brockton police on Wednesday arrested a city woman from a downtown beauty shop after she and an undercover officer negotiated a price for sexual services beyond the cost of a typical massage, said Brockton police Lt. Paul Bonanca.
"We're aggressive in our anti-prostitution enforcement," Bonanca said.
Police have said in the past that prostitution will not be tolerated in the city and that anyone coming to Brockton to solicit sexual services will be arrested.
In the past two years, police have broken up at least one spa where masseuses were accused of offering sexual favors and arrested dozens of men and women on prostitution charges through at least three targeted stings.
Wednesday's sting only netted one arrest, but police said Wednesday night they were also looking to bring charges against the owner of Wonderfully Made, the downtown beauty center targeted Wednesday.
Before noon, an undercover officer from an area department arrived at the Franklin Street center and propositioned the woman in a room closed off from where other employees cut hair.
The two negotiated a price, Bonanca said: $40 for the massage and an additional $40 for sexual services. Police said she then fondled the officer and police entered the shop.
Xxxx xxxx, 27, of xxxxx., Brockton, was arrested and charged with one count of sex for a fee. Xxxx is scheduled to be arraigned today in Brockton District Court.
The sting comes after more than a month-long investigation in which officers staked out the Franklin Street business, Bonanca said. The state board of licensure assisted in the arrest.
Wonderfully Made, a self-proclaimed wellness and beauty center, is owned by XXX XXXX, according to the state Division of Professional Licensure. A professional licensure database lists the massage license as current, having been issued in April for one year.
Xxxx, 29, who is listed at xxxx XXXX St., Brockton, also faces a charge for keeping a house of ill fame. Police were still looking for her as of Wednesday evening.
Just after noon Wednesday, from the back two rooms of the beauty shop, police carried massage tables and other equipment – such as a towel warmer, massage stone heater computer and documents – all of which were seized as evidence, loaded into a black pickup and carted from the scene. Also seized was an appointment book, police said, which held only first names.
Bonanca said police received complaints about the business "over a period of time." On two separate occasions in the past month or so, two of their own undercover officers attempted to engage XXXXX but failed, Bonanca said.
As of now, police have received no such complaints about any other business in town, he added.

Brockton woman charged with prostitution said she had sex change
Brockton woman charged with prostitution said she had sex change.
BROCKTON — Posted Oct 18,2013.
The 27-year-old woman arrested for prostitution on Wednesday at a downtown beauty shop was once a man.
Court documents show that XXXXX XXXXX had her name legally changed from XXX XXXXX in 2010. She listed the reason for adopting the new name as "in transition," and in parentheses wrote "sex change.
Raenee was arraigned Thursday on one count of sexual conduct for a fee.
Police said her customers at Wonderfully Made at 74 Franklin St., were male. Police had staked out the business, which billed itself a wellness and beauty center, for a month before making an arrest.
"We've never seen anyone go in there other than men, or females we believed to be employees," said Brockton Police Lt. Paul Bonanca, who led the investigation.
On Wednesday morning, an undercover officer from another area department arrived at the Franklin Street storefront for a prescheduled massage appointment. A woman, later identified as xxxxxx, took him back to a room closed off from where other employees cut hair, according to a police report filed with the case.
Xxxxx told the undercover officer to undress and she would return momentarily. The officer lay on his stomach on a massage table and she began to rub his back. As the massage continued, xxxxxxx asked if there was anything else she could help him with.
"Do you need me to relieve your stress?" the report states xxxxxxx asked the undercover.
The officer, who has participated in more than 100 covert massage operations statewide, said that question is known slang for a sexual proposition.
He and xxxxxx negotiated a price of $40. Once the money was exchanged, he gave the predetermined signal to undercover detectives outside.
Police had obtained an anticipatory search warrant. In a second backroom massage space, they discovered a woman with a male client.
The man was questioned by police, and he told them a friend had recommended Wonderfully Made as a place he could get a "happy ending," slang for sex acts performed after a massage. He told the officer who questioned him that that was the reason he was there Wednesday, but things had not progressed to that point, according to the report.
He and the woman performing the massage have not been charged with any crime.
But police have filed charges against the beauty shop's owner. Xxxx xxxxxx, 29, faces one count of keeping a house of ill fame, a misdemeanor. A summons has been issued for her to appear in court. A Board of Professional Licensure database lists xxxxx massage establishment license for Wonderfully Made as current, having been issued in April for one year.
Xxxxxxx and the other woman found giving a massage at the time of the sting do not have massage therapy licenses, a search of the database revealed. A spokeswoman for the Board of Professional Licensure said in a statement that they "cannot speculate on any action that the board may take" against xxxx or employees giving massages without a license.
Xxxxxx does have a cosmetology license from the board. She told police she had worked at Wonderfully Made for only a few weeks, and that she was waiting for the shop to get certified to do cosmetology and hair, which it appears from court documents it was already doing. Xxxxxx said that xxxxxx had reached out to her months ago to come work for her, but she refused at first because some of the girls working there were known to give happy endings, according to the report.
When asked if xxxxx knew what was going on, xxxxxx told police she was hardly ever there.
Police seized massage chairs and other equipment – such as a towel warmer, massage stone heater, computer and documents – which were placed into evidence. An officer discovered two unused condoms under a plant in one of the back rooms. Also seized was an appointment book, police said, which held only first names.
Wonderfully Made is the sixth massage parlor or spa business to be investigated for prostitution in the Brockton area in the past two years.
Most recently a similar sting operation, following a months-long investigation, led to the arrest of xxxx xxxxx, 38, of Revere, who was working at Celestina Massage and Spa on Main Street.

Police say Framingham massage parlor staffed by prostitutes
Framingham Nov 30,2013.
FRAMINGHAM —.
A New York woman ran a Rte. 30 massage parlor that was actually a front for prostitution, authorities said.
Framingham Police arrested xxxx xx, 51, at the Lavender Spa, 27 be Cochituate Road, on Thursday at 9:51 pm After an investigation, according to a police report filed in Framingham District Court on Friday.
On Thursday, police found references to the Lavender Spa on several websites. The websites indicated that the workers would perform a sex act during the massage, the report said.
During the day, police stopped and questioned two men who left the massage parlor. The report did not say what the men said, but due to the information they provided, officers arranged to have an undercover officer make an appointment for a massage.
"I told the woman on the phone I wanted a massage and she would also tell me it was going to be a good rub and that the girl was very pretty," the report said.
The officer went to the massage parlor at 9:45 pm And was greeted by Xx and another woman. Xx asked the officer to strip, and when he mentioned if she performed the sex act, she indicated she would. After paying her $60, the woman grabbed the officer's crotch, and other officers came in.
When officers tried to interview Xx and the other woman, who had been speaking to them earlier, there was a "major language barrier," the report said.
Police charged Xx with being a keeper of a house of prostitution and sexual conduct for a fee. Xx's address is listed as XXXXXX, Elmhurst, and. Why., but the report said Xx actually lives at the massage parlor.
Xx was scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Framingham District Court, but the court could not get a Chinese interpreter. Judge XXXX said he doubted Xx did not speak English, and accused of her of lying. Xx did not respond.
Xx was released without bail. She is due back in court on Dec. 26 to be arraigned.
