Well another first last night. Stopped by Star last night, about 12:30 am. Ran the buzzer repeatedly for about 5 minutes Then gave up and headed to car. Then decided I'the drive to Wallyworld to try to get Lucky at new venue. At car door, startled by "lemme see your wallet". Turned to see what looked like a 357 mag (I only know guns from movies) pointed at my gut. Bottom line, cost me $240 to make this post. Beware of Star after dark brothers. Perp was young, black in grey hooded sweatshirt. Said, "don't lemme see you round her no more".

Now we not only have LE to worry about, but life and limb too. What happened to the good ole days? Needles to say, no fun had by me SAT nite.

Wow Pez that's pretty heavy. It's amazing the risks we take in this hobby. I've been mugged. Dusted myself off and kept on coming. Got ripped and kept seeing the girl that ripped me. Been practising safe sex 95% of the time. Why not 100?

What is the address of Star? I'm not familiar with it yet know New Haven pretty well

Obviously, it really, really sucks that happened to that dude. The thing is, that is the type of crime people in that neighborhood are worried about, including LE (okay, D'uh!). The West Hills projects are literally a block away. And New Haven is right in the midst of a months long shooting spree now, so let's be thankful he didn't get shot!

I'm no fan of cops, but as far as fucking with (white) people, New Haven cops aren't that bad (I'm sorry to say that people of color may have a different experience, but you probably don't need me to tell you that). They're primarily focused on violent crime and shit that goes down on the streets where people live; if you get pulled over for speeding/tail light/other minor infraction in the City of New Haven, there's a better than 90% chance it's a Yale cop and not a NHPD cop, though you still have to pay the ticket. NHPD would have actually appreciated him reporting that crime, and they most likely wouldn't have fucked with him for trying to visit the Star. That said, I probably wouldn't have reported it either.

Anyway, my point is that whatever happens INSIDE the Star is of low priority around there; LE isn't too worried about it and I seriously doubt the dudes at the tattoo shop upstairs give a shit either, so they won't be lodging a complaint. Complaints from the neighbors are almost always the downfall of an AMP.

I expect the Star will reopen, and unless they get nailed by a statewide task force led by the State Police (which my information about the Bally bust leads me to believe is in play) I believe they have the potential to remain open for a good long time. Second to Bridgeport, I think New Haven is the next most likely place in CT for these establishments to thrive.

But let's just stick to daytime and early evening visits from now on fellas!

Exactly. Now, in a town like Ansonia or Wallingford, the cops might have busted his balls about what he was doing there. New Haven cops would have allowed him to be discreet. But then if they caught the guy and he decided to take his case to trial, you can bet his defense attorney would be asking those kind of questions. For a couple hundred bucks I don't see how it would be worth the trouble.

All things considered Pez Vela got off pretty light. Don't get me wrong having someone take your money is no picnic....but the guy could have taken his car, his wallet with id or worst yet...shot him.

I got mugged once by SW in my car. While I reached for money to pay her, she put a razor to the back of my neck. This was a long, long time ago in another state. To this day, I am always leery.

CT Dude and rest, my only instinct was get in car, start car, drive far away, keep mouth shut. Yes, was shook up. Took a while for me to think to warn the forum. Especially since it appears Star is closed. For night visits anywhere, I will call first and confirm someone will answer the friggin door.

Did recover enough Sunday however to get back on the horse. Made it to Lucky in Wallyworld - albeit in broad daylight tho! See Meriden for report there.

My experience with Star was about 4 months ago.Forget the girls name but pretty.Paid the usual house fee and got a really good massage.Nothing else, she said "We don't do that here".My first time there and I think I spooked her.I'm clean cut and could pass for LE. Live and learn.It doesn't pay to be rude in case I ever go back.Paid for a massage got a massage.Can't complain. As far as getting robbed never had it happen at an AMP but had a similiar experience a couple of years ago.Got away with car and cash intact but still a little scary. Good point thats what I would have done.
I don't think I would ever have made the call to the cop.
To be honest it probably wouldn't have even occured to me to call them.

If you involve LE in your situation...never...ever...lie to the cops. Say what needs to be said, and no more. Don't lie. If it comes up, or gets figured out, or talked out of you, it can do you nothing but harm.

Going to an AMP is as illegal as going to a health spa...cause that is all it is.

I have it on good word that star was knocked over, held up at gun point. Friends of friends know people at the tattoo parlor, so I got this through the grapevine at a bar the other night, thought you should know.

Pretty sure the cops were called too.

Also, the tattoo people are not supportive of what's going on down stairs. Especially with this kind of attention.

Sorry to hear that. I was there 2 weeks ago, and it was a very nice time. I will try to confirm all that next week.

I Had a quick but nice time in the TS, then on to the sauna for a couple mins. Back in the room had a fantastic massage that went on for at least 25 mins, with a hot towel walk on the back which was very nice.
After the walk we got down to business, she had a great body, face was not very good but the body made up for it, she was on the older side of the business, but not too old. She started out with the usual deal CBJ, to get things going, but as soon as she started with FS it was like she was already rushing me, but I took my time and had a good time in many positions which she cooperated with although she was hoping I would hurry up each time. Recently went to Star. Went during the middle of the afternoon since reading about the mugging. No way I'm going there after dark.

Walk in and greeted. Brought to a room and pay my fee. Start undressing and within seconds theres that polite knock on the door and in comes my hostess. I believe her name was Kelly. Very cute spinner type. A cups.

She escorts me to the shower area. She was cute in that she insisted on holding hands on the way as I fumbled with the towel. The standard table shower, but she did give special attention to the backside. Went there once, then twice, then a third time. So I'm thinking theres a reason why she's making that many visits to that area. She'll probably be attentive there later on as well. She had decent english skills, enough to make small chit chat. Pleasant enough.

She towel dried me and dropped me off for a quick stay in the sauna. Oh and by the way on my way to the table shower I saw an equally nice looking girl there as well. While in the sauna I saw her walk by in the window too. Seemed very tall. Much taller than Kelly who I was with.

Yes, Ratso hit it right on the head (pardon the mixed metaphor). Almost every girl at an AMP tells a client on the first visit that she has been there "2 weeks." Go to AMPs long enough and you'll see what I mean. Think about how many times you have heard the "2 weeks" line.

I'm not trying to stir up controversy either, but the Star has a higher turnover than any other place I've regularly gone to. Two weeks at the Star would practically make her a veteran.
