I saw Jordan yesterday and, except for some light bruising in the chest and neck area from an airbag, she's fine and in good spirits (and certainly not compromised).

So the crusader in me wanted to strike back vigorously with many private things that I know about her however I will take a more pragmatic approach. She obviously is not a trust worthy provider or recovering addict. If she is not trustworthy in regards to her promises about one item then she is most likely not trust worthy about her other issues as well. She is risky at best. So I am advising members that some risks, be it personal promises or health and safety issues may not be worth it.

Online the effect continues. If someone launches an attack on me, others jump in to defend me, not that I need defending. On the occasions when I write something worth reading, people thank me. Even my less stellar efforts get a fair reading.

But how does that benefit me? Humans, generally speaking are social creatures. Most function best as part of a group and acceptance provides tangible benefits. When someone benefits from something I've written, I also benefit. My stress level is decreased, my mood is improved, I'm just a tiny bit happier and healthier.

Which brings us full circle. Inside the circle is FF and quite a few friends, people who feel that companionship doesn't have to be limited by a clock or a donation. Meanwhile you're walking round and round carrying your thermos.

And I'm still somewhat harsh, whether on an anonymous forum or in my day-to-day encounters. If someone says or does something stupid or insensitive, I tell them. I don't require everyone's acceptance.

Now I open doors for little old ladies and young men and everyone in between. I smile, wave and greet people. If someone asks how I'm doing, instead of a one word response, I answer and return the question. Online I've stopped looking for people to attack. Instead I let them come to me. Overall, I try to give more than I take.

I admit it's getting harder. People are going out of their way to be nice to me. Yesterday, a restaurant manager apologized for not seating me ahead of 2 families with children (both arrived before me), requiring me to sit in a different section. I can survive one meal with a different waitress. Besides, my regular waitress still gave me 2 hugs and scratched my back. No apology needed. A few weeks ago my neighbor brought me homemade ham and beans with cornbread and then apologized because it wasn't her best cornbread. I'm at the point where I'm receiving more than I can give.

Online the effect continues. If someone launches an attack on me, others jump in to defend me, not that I need defending. On the occasions when I write something worth reading, people thank me. Even my less stellar efforts get a fair reading.

But how does that benefit me? Humans, generally speaking are social creatures. Most function best as part of a group and acceptance provides tangible benefits. When someone benefits from something I've written, I also benefit. My stress level is decreased, my mood is improved, I'm just a tiny bit happier and healthier.

Which brings us full circle. Inside the circle is FF and quite a few friends, people who feel that companionship doesn't have to be limited by a clock or a donation. Meanwhile you're walking round and round carrying your thermos.

You seem to consider your dollars as of utmost importance to the equation. It's obviously of import, but if you're playing in an arena where it's the only thing that matters, then you're probably dealing with some desperate people. SexyRed probably loves you right now because of this, but once upon a time she was begging me to come see her and had me at her new house and showed me her kids' rooms, told me about their school lives and showed me pictures of her family because I was awesome in every other way AND gave her money for the experience, and the experience reflected the increased trust and comfort. She asked me to do BB and Greek and all the things you're probably getting on the cheap right now because right now money IS all that matters (PS - didn't do either BB or Greek). But you're probably solely about power and control so it seems cool to take advantage of the desperate. Whatever floats your boat, but we're not all with you.

As for the open market, it's not as open when the seller gets to decide whether to sell to a buyer based on whatever damn criteria she wants. I'd think someone that considers themselves so smart would get this, but then you probably believe a true free market exists somewhere in this world. Economic theorist, you are not.

This board makes me reach for one, not out of self pity, but for the multiple personalities that exist as a cohesive group that I believe generally do care. This is what brings tears to my eyes. There are so many examples of varying types of hobbyists and providers on this board who are true examples of humanity.

There is Ilapp, my friend, who has a bigger heart than mine (sorry it's out now) to the point that at times, when I hear the tone of his voice on the phone it worries the hell out of me. Two Nutts, one of the greatest mongers and friend a guy like me can have. IndyGuy, who if you can get him to stop talking long enough you will find out he really cares about others. LancePkrbttm, who I met recently and was as stand up as anyone can be on the Leslie issue. Numbnutts, who Selma told me he is a great guy and funny as hell. MWdude, who I have never met but through e-mails and other means, but I can tell he wears his heart on his sleeve. BigGuyuAteMe, even though he loves TPHFB (sorry not my thing but you go for it guy) has become a good friend. Bigg2003, from recent communication has me believing once again in the brotherhood on this board. Nostra and Golfer, Ok so these two just want young pussy, but they do give sound advice and I call them my friends (sorry I know you don't feel the same). Jjbee, Wow respect for you overflows from your wisdom and humanity. Stillnotme, still sweating meeting a monger like me more than an unknown BP provider, but I broke his cherry. Then there is Sara who watches over the security of this board more than anyone can ever imagine. Her health struggles should bring her down but don't because her humanity is so strong. My point is with all the personalities, personas, wishes and wants there is true humanity on this board. Humanity: human beings collectively capable of showing compassion, brotherly love, fraternity, philanthropy, humaneness, kindness, consideration, understanding, sympathy, tolerance and just plain doing the right thing because you should. It's too bad our US Congress isn't full of mongers and providers with the same type of humanity that exists on this board. If it was, something might get accomplished.

I am putting this here because I know it will draw some flack. I'm targeting young providers in this post but not discounting experienced mature providers. These words may have similar meanings but can be very different when it comes to the hobby.

Sense: "A [B]feeling[/B] that something is the case". Like seeing a young, inexperienced provider and your [B]feeling[/B] that she is ok with posting pics, taking pics or videos, or telling her that she is working with unsafe help or in an unsafe location. You sense this is the case, without asking questions or taking their immaturity and inexperience into consideration. The only sense that is really true here is the "faculty by which the body perceives an external stimulus". Whether the stimulation is at the present or preserved for future stimulation.

Sensibility: "The ability to appreciate and respond to complex emotional or aesthetic influences; sensitivity". Understanding that young, inexperienced providers may not always make the right choices in order to make sure that the customer is happy, pleased, provide a good review, not talk bad about them, and a myriad of other complex emotional or aesthetic influences that may prevent them from saying NO I don't do that, allow something they really don't want or say please don't post personal pics on the forum. An experienced monger should consider, contain this sensibility.

So, the moral of this post is. These young providers are [B]NOT[/B] naive "natural and unaffected; innocent" but they [B]ARE[/B] naive "showing a lack of experience, wisdom, or judgment". It's up to us as mongers to show them our humanity. Please don't tell me, "Hey FF if they don't like being exposed then they shouldn't have started in the biz!" because it would expose your inhumanity. This by no means indicates a bad review is not appropriate if warranted or dangerous situations need to be brought out on the forum. It's all about respect as a monger and respect for young providers.

As BG always says, "Play safe, have fun, get and give respect". Nuff said!
