HPV, Scabbies, and Herpes are transmitted via skin contact, so covering up will reduce but not eliminate the odds of you catching them.

Remember, this hobby involves a lot of risk. This is just one of them.

There just isn't sufficient concentration of the virus in saliva alone. BBFS, in terms of HIV, is obviously riskier, but still pretty low risk for the male unless, once again, there's an open wound of some sort involved.

Of course, I'm not a doctor, and there's a lot of conflicting information out there. Safety is always the best policy, but we're assuming a certain amount of risk engaging in this hobby to begin with. Like you said, in the end, everyone has to decide for themselves what level of risk they're willing to accept. But there's no sense judging other mongers for their activities. I don't make a habit of engaging in BBFS, but I'd be lying if I said I've never done it on certain occasions when the option was presented to me (sometimes the little head just takes over, you know?).
