this sounds like a whodunit. but really, the butler did it!
anyhow, if i read correctly, the attorney was scorps and silver eagle, while the cpa was numbersguy and also aes owner. the salesman was the ev owner and thaifood. if so, then who was holland? (ironically, about five years ago, there was a huge discussion about if scorps was ran by an escort. mystery solved finally! lol). they should have seen it coming. the m&gs are what did them in...along with the **** girl. i always wondered why in such a secretive "hobby" would guys get together and let each one know who each is. even if nothing was done, pictures can be taken (and probably were) and license plates can be written (and probably were). as has been seen, it is really not that difficult for the le to become a member and see what goes on.
and why did the fourth unmentioned board also close down if it was not connected. or was it?
btw, from what i have read, this "prostitution ring" is blown way out of proportion. the news media loves it for their story, but much of it is just that. a story. ironically, the main purpose of the boards is ignored...the connecting of escorts to clients. these boards did what no others have. shutting the boards down has done more damage to the local "hobby" than arresting those three men. many escorts will be going out of business, and many clients (unless they have phone numbers) will no longer be able to have a large choice of escorts. i think i have already noticed an influx of new ads on cl and bp. yet without any sort of "reviews." will clients take the risk? is it worth it? are the new ads really le? and the question remains...will there be a new board?
hmmm. kinda interesting.
If so, then who was Holland? . Hmmm. Kinda interesting.
Back when I knew Holland, he was a retired salesman living on the west side of the state in a tourist town whose name should be fairly obvious. Back then, he had no administrative connection to either of the boards. Of course, times change.
Nice guy (Holland) and an asset the boards integrity, I've met him, he has no board authority other than as a moderator in the forums.
up until last week, i was a member on all 3 boards. i started off on the boards almost a decade ago on the original sg. i am very saddened for what has happened to these men. however, i have no sympathy for the guilty parties that particpated in **** activites. honestly, they should have known better, and i won't even expound on the stupidity of the drug issue. i also have more questions in my mind then answers, and i believe alot more info will be forthcoming from the trials. part of me wonders if this is not a a spinoff of the issues from the arrest of a well known provider back in 2008, that had a hand in the closing of sg. i'm not 100% convinced all the dos attacks were from le. they have niether accepted responsibility or made any mention of masterminding those attacks. logically, it doesn't make sense. regardless, without proof that it was a banned member, another board looking to grow their base membership or the feds, there will be alot of women sol. i have counceled these ladies for years to expand their advertising to national boards and other resources other then putting all their eggs into one basket ie local boards. i i really hope these men have good lawyers and i am sending warm thoughts and prayers their way.

It does burn me up a bit to see Thai / EV binned in with what was going on over at AES and their parties.
The latest news stories are blurring the lines to make it seem like all the boards were the same for the M&G's.
It seems like the feebs are going for the crossing state / international borders for prostitution angle over anything else.
As for what happened to the unmentioned board. If they're smart they're keeping it off line for a while.
peyton, the charges are allegations at this point. i assume there must be enough evidence, but we won't see it. as for the **** girl, i also abhor it if it is true. remember. she was 17 not 13, and the question for me is. did those guys know her age? were they responsible for verifying age?
the article i read, stated the **** complaint was liabled agaisn't scorps.
although since the board was shut down they went after what they could. my guess is after the big news on the miami connections a task force was set up to investigate any open investigations. hence the old report became new again. someone saw it. man hours were put in and they found out crap. they are gone. and then latched on the as, and ev.
the funny thing is ev worked to keep drug use, std's and dangious people out of the membership and group. hence a safer place to play. i know thai. he is a good guy. i hope things work out well.
but with this industy. it doesn't matter if they are guilty. best thing he can hope for is a good lawyer and trial by judge. because in this industly cards are stacked against them with jury.
my thought on my thai was remanded might have something to do with, that his board was the only one charging a membership. hence profiting off it also.

thaifood is a good guy and a great admin. he was always fair in his dealings with people. he had my back on more then one occassion, without expecting anything in return, and for that i owe him a debt of gratitude. i have to agree with the general consensus that its looking like the other 2 rolled and hung him out to dry. i seriously doubt that they will walk out of this without consequences, but they will probably receive a lighter sentence. karma's a *****, but the problem with karma is, your very rarely allowed a peek at the end result!

there is a romeo and juliet clause against prosecution for age 15 and under. i think it's 2 or 3 years but don't hold me on that one.
yes it will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

with all the paranoia around here about being identified as member of those boards, the last i knew no one around here is charlie sheen. but if i'm mistaken, hey charlie could you pm please? the worst that can happen is that le tries to publicly embarrass you into doing something for their motives. yes for some this could cause a great deal of personal damage but it usually has backfired for le and the media in the past to the tune of big bucks and their own embarrassment. can anyone say synergy?
on a side note; this is exactly why i gave up on agencies many many years ago. everytime one got busted, a huge client list with names, numbers, and other info was seized during those bust. one that comes to mind was the one that got busted out of huntington woods years ago. if i remember it was like 10, 000 names and numbers and details on the disk that were seized? i'll surmise that mine was on there somewhere as well.
