LE in the NE don't b.s. and send SWers packing to the Greybar Hotel where they usually get sentenced for time served when they appear before a judge within 72 hours of arrest. Most never return to the scene of the crime and move the the South and East. That doesn't mean there isn't any action in the NE, but don't expect to see SWers shakin' their booties and waving to traffic.
It seams from you post you'll be visiting. If you have transportation there are many options available to you.
Rolly has already mentioned Biscayne (US1) from NE 81st to NE 14th. That's a pretty good stroll, but the impending yupification of this area with condos is changing the scene faster than an Alaskan day on January 21st. By this Fall when the new performing arts center (not El Centro) opens we'll all be searching for greener pastures.
Kilgore - Why don't you try some of the NE/NW strip clubs in Dade or So. Broward?
Scarlet's in So. Broward isn't too bad; and neither is Tootsie's in N. Dade. I'm not in either club that often, but many of my amigos swear by them. They're the married types who are just looking for lots of groping, tit sucking and like to have their jewels grabbed. They're not looking for full penetration. They just want to feel like dirty S.O.B.s for a couple hours a month and they don't mind spending $250+ in the VIP to take their minds off their wives.
As for myself, I consider that a waste of money. I go there to hang with my buds and they go there 'cause they get to pretend they're single again.
I'm regularly in The TRap (NW 7th Ave & 135th St) not to be confused with the Booby Trap in Broward. Let me give you skinny first so you don't get disappionted when you walk in. This place is small. Real small. Most 2 car garages are more spacious than The TRap.
The TRap is a neighborhod place with 2 pool tables. Lots of [real] bikers frequent this place, so do blacks, hispanics and working stiffs. Occaisionally a richy rich walks walks in, but not too frequently. Beers are cheap and the barkeep frequently buys you one. The TRap doesn't have a liquor liscence so don't bother asking for mixed drinks. There's rarely more than eight girls per shift.
The girls all play their own music from the jukebox. 3 song sets! Nude table dances and VIP; friction with bottoms on.
If you go just walk in and have a seat at one of the bar stools. Order up (try to remember you bar keeps name & tell hime/her yours.) There's a huge range of ladies here so don't commit to early otherwise you all-time favorite will step up on stage while youre buying the fugly MILF a glass of wine.
Have an ice cold beer and enjoy the naked ladies. If you're smart you'll pick a spot on the far side of the bar facing the pool tables so you can check out the comings and goings. You can observe which ones are there with a boyfriend and see how they greet regulars.
It doesn't take but an hour or so to check out the talent. Try to remember who's on stage when you walk in 'cause when she goes up again you'll know the selection - it shouldn't cost you more then 3 beers + tips to the bar keep and dancers. If nobody there interests you leave. Don't waste your time and $$$.
If you meet some one you're interested in ask her to come back to you when she's collecting tips for the stage dance. If she's going to sit with a regular or has others waiting for dances she'll tell you. If she doesn't and blows you off get over it, don't brood about it and move on to the next chica. Get 'yer 1st dance at the bar so you can see her up close. Appearances off-stage are different. If you like the barside dance and want more buy her a drink and talk abouth the VIP. Ask her if she has a boyfriend; whould she like to go out? You might not need the VIP, just set something up for later - or a nooner tomorrow. Many strippers don't date, so be polite. If the hotest chick doesn't date she doen't date so move on. Maybe she does, but not new customers, you might need to come back.
I'm a regular and the talent changes nightly. alot of the girls only work 2 days/nights a week and others are M-F day/night shift types and others just work TH, F, Sat eve. Everything at the TRap is real laid back. There's a bunch of regular gals who love the place and a few trying the place out. Most of the newbies move on 'cause the TRap isn't for them. They want more attention, drugs and $$$. There's a constant rotation of newbies and alot of the date outside the club.
Afternoons start around 2ish and nights shift takes over between 7ish and 8ish. This ain't a late night spot. They close up beteen 12:30 and 1:30 depending on the crowd. If you speak with a dancer and want to see at the club again be sure you know her schedule.
