I haven't heard of them doing that with an active account. I tried to create a 2nd account a few months ago and as soon as I finished it got flagged and they asked for my real I'd, but didn't know they would do that with an active account. If you're using a real credit card tied to your real I'd for payment then I think you've already broken that risk barrier and can send the info they requested.
