Well if you want real memory lane in Philly.
You don't have to look any further than Maria Moore. Was with her 4 times, each better than the first. Those tits and that smile and giggle / laugh. Great times in that lower level apartment of her's on the east side just up from Elfreth's Alley. Last I saw her was in 2002, just before she retired and went into full time porn with her husband. She set that damn bar way up there, and no one has approached it since. How man Ivy League, Finance grads, have you ever fucked? She was beyond special.
The Demise of Club Kama Sutra
Was this the one with wall-to-wall mattresses on the floors? This would have been the 90's.
I was taken to one, (the first time) OMG.
There was at least two dozen people in the room, some with rubbers, some without. It was wild.
For the next few days I was physically drained, and called out sick. Shortly there after I was told it closed when I wanted to go back.
On another note:
I remember a long time ago my father had an account at 13th & Locust. It was called the Crustacean (expensive dining) (prior to that I believe it was a mob place and shutdown) but in any event to the left of the building was a parking lot. I was a young teen at the time, and went to sit in the truck and make sure he wasn't ripped off or ticket / towed if he could get in the lot. This was on a weekend night. I was standing outside of the truck and I found a Honeysuckle Divine advertisment handbill, can't remember the club. This was back in the day when the place had these on hard business card like 5 x7 stock.
I believe she still may be living. Wonder if she can still shoot a ping pong ball.
I think that's is how I got addicted to porn. I came across that damn thing about 15 years ago in an old tackle box I had at my parents, don't know what happened to it now. But that area was.
Hoppin back then.
The name of that place was Club Kama Sutra (CKS). CKS was essentially 3 floors. Buffet and tables on the first floor, main playroom & cubes on the 2nd and a bar and balcony on the 3rd floor. Apparently they had a mailing list of 10,000 members.
CKS had a main playroom, but also several semi-private cubicles. The cubes were 6-ft high office cubes but had mirrors on the ceiling so one could see the action inside. The main play room did have wall to wall mattresses, but the floor above it had been removed and as such there was a walkway around the 2nd floor perimeter where one could lean over and watch the action below in the main playroom.
SMs were only permitted on Friday nights as Saturday was couples only. I took a FWB / CL girl there a couple of times. One time I ended up in one of the cubes banging some Indian wife as her hubby watched. She was a dead fish fuck. My 'date' ended up nude on the bar and guys were doing shots out of her belly button. Ended the night with a nice fuck in the back corner of the main playroom.
The owners of CKS were a bit dopey. This was back when "law & order" Lynn Abraham was the Philly District Attorney. The club ended up being a feature article in one of those free rags (Philly Weekly? Available in the corner newspaper boxes. Cover had a semi-nude couple embraced on the main playroom mattress. Owners thought it was great advertising and had plans to franchise the place! I mean Philly allows a lot of stuff to go on, but when you rub that kinda thing in the face of the politicians, something had to be done. When I saw the article I just knew something would happen.
It was no more that a couple of weeks after that article that L&I showed up on a Saturday night, in the middle of a party for an "inspection"! Of course they found a dozen or so code violations and evicted the patrons and shuttered the place. The owners were so dumb they thought they could hire a contractor and fix the code violations and get back to business. It was pretty clear that this was political closure and the powers that be would never allow the place to open again. Sure enough, repairs were made, but L&I never allowed them to open again.
Eventually they decided to move CKS to Coopersburg where a strip club, Silhouette Showbar, would host the parties. I couldn't see driving an extra 50 miles as I am sure many others didn't and CKS faded from the scene. Would rather go to TJ's Lasting Impression, north of Harrisburg, The Farm in York or TPA in Perryville. Now there is a HUGE warehouse club in the shadow of the old Sunoco Refinery.
