IF you use a made up name then get an outcall appointment to a hotel room you paid for, the escort WILL call the hotel to verify that you actually have that room prior to the appointment. She will question the reason why you are using the name John Smith in your email messages, yet registered for the hotel room as Tony Maggianos. If worried about it, just come clean and mention that you have the room under another name and this is what it is. Escorts call hotels for a number of reasons usually cause they believe that they can get better directions from the hotel staff than from you.
Escorts are usually late when coming to your location. Between 5 minutes and 45 minutes. Take a shower before they arrive. Turn on the outside house lights and some inside the house. Prep the room you will be using, clean sheets/pillows etc. Lock up the dog and/or cat.
Escorts who work as a group of independents or with an agency often will describe some girl over the phone and the person you actually meet will be vastly different because your young lady supposedly had car troubles on her way out to your location. Double verify before handing over any fees that she is there for a massage or private viewing. You don't want to get up to the room after handing over the money, strip naked to be informed that suddenly she doesn't do massages. Don't be afraid to turn her away without paying for a service if you do not receive what you thought you were going to receive. They might try to exhort some sort of cancellation fee from you.
Be advised that after calling and talking to many different places that may have turned you down or been unappealing in some way, suddenly one calls back with an unbelievable availablility. There are scam operations which steal escort business from them and might rip you off in the process.
DO NOT GET FLUSTERED OR BULLIED INTO REQUESTING AN ILLEGAL SERVICE BY AN ESCORT. This is a very common rip off manuver of which many of us have been screwed many, many times. They get you to outright request sex for cash then tell that is illegal and they are calling the police unless you let them leave. Usually after they walked in the door with their hand out for the fee, then went into the bathroom to call their driver/bodyguard/pimp on their cell phone. Then coming out to use your phone and checking your driver's license while calling their agency. Remember you always have the right to ask them to leave if you feel that they aren't picking up your subtle signals that you want FS. Frankly if they are legitmate escorts they will be sending you obvious signals to respond to.
Obvious signals to look out for:
Escorts will say and do many different little things to indicate to you that they are ready to commence a FS activity by which money will be provided to them.
1) Why don't you get comfortable? KEYWORD: Comfortable.
[ I.E. Take off all your clothes and lie down on the bed. Preferably with a condom on. ]
2) Do you have a condom?
[ I.E. See above number 1. ]
Most often I have found that taking the intiative is often the best way to cut through all the bullshit. Meet the escort wearing a loose pair of shorts and a t-shirt or a bathrobe and nothing else. When she enters the room remove your clothes or robe and commence putting on a condom. To break the silence ask her if she would like to use the bathroom before you begin. Lie down on the bed. Place the fee in an envelope with the flap open showing the cash on the bedside table. During this time do not say anything about what you want, merely assume that the escort is intelligent enough to realize that if you are naked and wearing a condom that you are a serious client. She will have no option but to realize that no cop in his right mind would undress and lie down on the bed naked to the world and his buddies smoking in the next room watching on the video camera. Hopefully she will take a cue from your behavior and silently collect the fee and start removing her clothes as well. NOTE: I have not had the opportunity to test this method with a lady cop yet so I do not know how a lady cop would handle this silent behavior. I believe that a lady cop might raise some objection to your behavior and attempt to leave the room because she isn't that type of girl. I don't believe she can arrest you at this point for exposing yourself to her as she willingly came into your room. A lady cop may try to ask you what you are doing and why you are naked, at which point putting your clothes back on and showing her the door while apologizing for the misunderstanding would probably be best. Do not attempt to rationalize your behavior, do not discuss the cash lying on the table. Apologize repeatedly and show the lady out. Case closed.

A few more brief remarks...
When you send an email inquiry to an escort allow for a reasonable time period for them to respond. This ladies don't spend as much time as you or I spend online. As you might imagine if they are seriously involved in this industry as their primary source of income, they don't have the time to be on their computer scoring new customers. Frankly if you get the impression that a lady you are emailing spends a great deal of time online, then you might also assume that she doesn't have any customers or she is a he (her pimp/boyfriend/scam artist) or a first timer looking for her inspiration to break into the industry. I have experienced reasonable time periods of as much as two days later to a week and a half later. So to expediate matters you may want to contact several at once. Be very careful about to which escort you are sending what info or requests, don't mix them up. Pre-write a form style email with general info that applies to all situations. You will receive back several emails from other email addresses than the ones you sent them to. Some escorts are very inexperienced online and are largely untrusting of this whole online advertising their services thing. With good reason too...
You may assume that they are scoring new customers left and right, but actually they may have received one or two replies then nothing then one then five etc.
Also keep in mind the fact that you may be reading this ad for the first time and think it sounds really good, but this ad was posted two years ago... The escort may not be in the business anymore and may become angry if you attempt to contact her in her new life.
Remember this is a business to the escorts. Don't be thinking you are going to be having some sort of quasi-Richard Gere in Pretty Woman style thing. These woman may pretend to think you are the hottest and sexiest man on two legs, but this doesn't mean they want to give up the lifestyle of recieving $200 every two or three hours a day. Heck, make the effort to score free nookie on the side, but don't get all hopeful if she does accept your cell phone number and promises to call you in a day or two. I have had one or two minor successes with escorts and dancers, and one attempted blackmail experience.

every escort i call either doesn't pick up, brushes me off, or hangs up on me. i told them already in e-mails that was only 19 so what am i doing wrong? all i do is say "Hi, i'm calling about your ad in [insert website here]" then i'm eitehr hung up on, politely told to fuck off, or the phone's never answered.
