Many joints are in strip mall locations or across the street or a block away from strip malls or places to eat. Because if you taxi or uber you might get the driver wanting to get a "kick back " for driving you there. Don't need the hassle. Happened to me a few years ago. Since then. I pick a store, bar, eatery, etc to get dropped off at. Then walk to the MP.
