He doesn't want to burn bridges
This doesn't do ya much good though without the provider being named?
I'm guilty of this too. He's venting. We've all been in this situation, we don't want to call them out publicly until they cross whatever line each person draws in the sand.
How do they, make it up to you?
Other than myself, has anyone ever called out a girl for her promise to "make it up to you"?
A girl twice cancelled on me, the second one when I was close to her location, the first I was just about to leave to head over. Both times, promises of "make it up to you next time" were made. Well, a week after the second cancellation, I contacted her and we booked a time and set a price for an hour appointment.
It was then that I reminded her of her TWO promises to make it up to me. A quick scroll through the text messages showed that to be the case. So I asked her, "How are you going to make it up to me? She said, "I will make you so happy. ". I told her pointedly that that's the original arrangement. "Making it up" means extra something; whether services, time, anything above the standard. She didn't understand, or was faking her naivete. So I offered her a deal; I pay for an hour, but as extra for her 2 previous cancellations, I get 90 minutes of play. She sill gets paid the same, and all she'll be out is the time.
She balked at the offer. She was telling me I was low balling her and that if I wanted 90 minutes then I should pay for 90 minutes. I just said that if her idea of making it up to me was for me to pay the same money for the same services for the same amount of time, then that's not making it up to me. I just ended the messages. 10 minutes past the appointment, I get a text asking how far away I was because I was late. I told her, "No. I'm not coming. But don't worry. I'll make it up to you next time. ".
My phone started blowing up because apparently she needed the money more than I needed to get laid. You can tell from the tone of her messages she wasn't happy (a lot of caps lock and a threat to block me). I just told her that blocking me is fine. I ended it with, "Next time, don't cancel, don't ghost, and don't promise to make it up when you have no intention of coming through. ".
But back to my original question. Have you ever called out a girl on a promise to make it up to you?
When she says, "I will make it up to you. "
When "I will make it up to you next time" has been said to me, my next text is always, "How are you going to make it up to me? More time for the normal rate? Normal time at a lower rate? Or a Freebie?" If they answer I save the text so they can't forget the promise.
If they don't answer with some equitable offer I never call her again.
