I am hardly trying to give up this hobby which I started lately. It kinda takes into a auto pilot mode and little head doesn't stop listening until it's all done where I feel bad. Does anybody goes through similar feeling? Attempted to stop this hobby? What routes have you taken? Has anyone succeeded? I am sure there must have been a positive result. I just pretty much decided to stop. Didn't require much effort. I haven't in quite a while. I guess the thing that helped was just to not open BP or this site.

I still do come around here and peek around a bit though.

So the first step to stop this is to avoid all the trigger points. Many times in the past I simply deleted my emails, google number, and just stopped it upright. But then, again opened and doing. Wish there is a way to stop this. This is not at all a good thing to continue. The consequences are high:

Probably the best way is to get wrapped up in something else like another hobby or work. For me lack of funds limits what I can do.

I even tried putting this site and backpage in the list of restricted sites in my router. It helped for a while but since I control that I just removed them when I felt the urge to visit the sites.

Having some accountability to someone else can help you stop. If you're alone like I am, there is no accountability. That's a problem.

Fact is, I am sure 90% of the people who are successful in their career has impulsive behavior disorder. If they don't, then its' called Lazy. I don't care anymore about all her positive reviews in TER or anywhere. But the fact is, it's not 1 time, but 3 f'ing time she flaked out once I am on location. She don't respond, or text "will send room number in 2 minutes" and that's it. Wait 15,30, 45, an hour hoping that she would show up is a biggest mistake. Because it's not going to happen.
