If you have not already looked into this subject, there are MANY diseases and bacteria's resistant to antibiotics, this is nothing new. What most people don't realize is Western medicine DOES NOT cure anything, it never has! It is ONLY meant to treat. And "antibiotics" is NOT an end all, be all, super drug that cures everything / anything. As a matter of fact, since it has been messed with and butchered from it's original organic state, antibiotics has become much more destructive to "treating" ailments than ever before. It does more harm to the human body now because it is mostly synthetic. I personally stay FAAAR away from antibiotics and medicine in general.
I'm no expert or doctor, but I have studied this and other health related subjects pretty heavily and I'm familiar with how to take care of your body preemptively to prevent it from "catching" diseases.

Sin.[/QUOTE]Yes, Gonorrhea has been rapidly evolving of late to become immune to the standard antibiotic treatments and this is obviously a concern. About 400,000 new cases are diagnosed and presumably treated but another 400,000 are infected and don't get treatment. The majority of the time these are women who are unaware they are infected and pass it along to their male partners who don't wear a wrapper. If you think you've been exposed and believe in science then get tested and treated. It's one pill and you'll be fine in a few days unless it's one of these new super bugs in which case ti might get a little more complicated.
On the bright side, New Zealand was running a mass campaign to vaccinate (oh God, the I said the "V" word) against meningitis which was having a major outbreak there since 2000 and they successfully stopped the outbreak. The interesting side effect is that they also saw a sharp (read statistically significant) drop in new Gonorrhea diagnoses as well. The presumption is that the two bacteria are "85 to 90%" similar and as a result, it seems very possible now to create a specific Gonorrhea vaccine. So good news for mongers! If you can vaccinate against HIV, Gonorrhea and Chlamydia then the world becomes a lot less risky.

HPD had a loose policy which allowed police to have sex with prostitutes and AMP workers with no problems. Well the problem comes when that same policeman or unit comes back and arrests people or turn them over to INS. It becomes a problem because that badge becomes a coupon to get free services because the workers are scared that if they don't play ball that an arrest will come. The local news and this female anchor woman who is too fn hot to be talking about illegal sex on tv, was all over it when I was there.
