Picked up SW, who just scored. Knew her so gave the knod and pulled around the corner 2 blocks away, discreetly, so I thought.
She hops in and I'm off to the notel for some fun, so I thought. We get a few blocks and my monger mobile is surrounded. Fucking felony stop. I like WTF, for a misdemeanor of patronizing? Nope, bracelets go on both of us and in the back of separate cars. I'm asked where the fuck is it. I seriously don't know what the cop is talking about, he said the drugs why'all just copped? He ask if he can search my car, I said no. Here comes K9 walk around, he alerted. Cop said, I can now. Chick hid 2 full needles of "H" and a rock in my car as soon as she got in and I didn't even notice. I though she was rumbling around in her bag.
Problem: she had no drugs on her and said it wasn't hers. It's my car and it was found in my car. We both go down for it. Car towed and impounded. I thought I was pretty street smart with mongering. Now, here were it gets interesting and was an eye opener for me. While being interviewed, which I remained silent, the cop straight told me. Bruh, we spend 10 hrs a day in these hoods and see everything. Why'all only come in for a couple of hours a week to do your dirt and trust and believe we notice. Our eyes and cameras see almost everything. To turnkey I go and have to get bailed out.
Here's what my lawyer learned through discovery, when reviewing the evidence against me. The dope house that she scored from before I say her was under surveillance. Had video of her hand to hand buy. The cops were stopping people once they got away from the house to get the drugs to build their case (1st probable cause for stop). 2nd, girl was a fugitive for not reporting to probation and her probation had a search clause, or some shit (2nd probable cause for stop). I already said K9 alerted, so that was 3, search would not get thrown out.
Fuck it, I said, just argue the misdemeanor or patronizing. I'll take that hit and just have to face the shit from S / O. Problem is prosecutor wasn't interested. They wanted the dealer and that was the only thing on the table. Shit, I don't know the dealer, or anything about that game, not that I would snitch if I were in that game.
So, off to trial we go. Girl takes a plea and put everything on me. Said I paid her to get drugs for me and she was just bringing them to me. She's a known addict (History) and chose rehab.
Shit not looking good for me. Even though I was raised in the city, I now live out in the suburbs with a Federal job (Security Clearance). My attorney threw a bunch of scenarios at me and kept going back and forth with the State to try and lower the felony charge. They wouldn't budge because they wanted the dealer and thought I still could help. So, my attorney suggested with the opiate epidemic so huge, let's play the addict card, first offense. It worked, had to go to rehab and pay fines, but no felony on my record. Saved my job by self identifying I had "an addiction" and basically went on a 60 day vacation. Guess that last part wasn't a lie, since I did have an addiction to mongering. Hindsight, I thought about all the shit I have found in my car after the date. I actually had a habit of stopping at the nearest wawa, gas station, or car wash to search my own car. I should have known better, but my addiction got me burned.
The sad part in all of this is the cops flat out told me, they knew exactly what I was doing, but thought the girl would flip. Bastards wouldn't tell the truth when my attorney presented that to them because they wanted the felony conviction. Also, they said this sure as shit will stink harder and keep my ass out of their city, exact words. Dirty bastards.
Sorry for the long post and like I said in the beginning, not preaching or judging. Just wanted to share facts on what can and did happen to me. Be safe out there brothers! Everyone of them has paraphernalia at the least and probably more. So the issue now is how not to be seen picking up. I dont care how hot she is get Intel first. If you miss her you will find her again. Before you pick up drive though the strip with your eyes open, then shoot back on a street just off the strip again with your eyes open. Don't pick girls up on the strip, give them the look then pull down the next side street. If she can't figure it out, oh well. This is not a safe hobby and the only one in charge of your safety is you. Just remember that. So it comes down to this, own everything you can, don't get comfortable, past that it comes down to luck. Happy hunting and be safe. Just own your shit.
