That's why so few take them seriously. I think a premium account just offers more controls and filters, etc. "Successful" accounts have to be a paid account in order to read msgs. I believe if your account is new, and you load a photo, it says you can send msgs, but they are edited. You can't just send your contact info to bypass paying and you still can't read replies, so that's a misleading way to get someone to join and then get acquainted with the site before realizing the high cost, LOL.
That's all open for correction if someone knows better than I.
