My iPhone has a passcode on it. Nobody gets in it but me. I don't have the funds to get out all that often and using the app on the phone is the most cost effective for me. If I had the funds that all you hound-dogs have then maybe I would get a separate phone. It just don't make much sense for me.

For about $12 per month. As long as I pay for the number with a money order and delete my outgoing call history there's no way to get caught, I've been able to manage around not being able to pick up on the incoming call and the no texting. And I don't have a live in but my main lady friend isn't above snooping on my phone. Come to think of it my ex snooping is why I don't have that ex any more. Be careful guys.

Put her as the I. See. E. (in case of emergency) contact. If she ever finds the phone she'll think you're so thoughtful to keep only her number there. IF you store other numbers there just put fake business names on them. You know. BJ Tire Company and FS Automotive. I have some entries like that in my GPS. (But I'm single).

All that creates a record whether it be on your phone or your Verizon / ATT account or your cloud or some "history" setting, on and on. As for covering your tracks- a separate phone is best because the phone and number and calls cannot be linked to you. You paid cash for everything about it without leaving a trail that leads to you.

Yes a burner app can give you anonymous numbers. And the fact that you even HAVE a burner app could get you in trouble. But I think it would be difficult to trace any calls back to you through the app. Yes it's probably possible but who's going to have access to your phone all the info needed to trace a call through a third party app?
