But they have to actually catch you doing something to arrest you. And yes they can give you a hassle for just being there which will keep you from coming back. Their presence alone would keep me from going there.

So what's wrong with you taking your girlfriend there to get a room for one hour to watch TV and fuck. How long have you known her? Just picked her up. Still not illegal. They would have to see some money exchanged or solicitation in order to make an arrest.

But like I said, who needs the hassle.

She was thin, had lots of takeout food and drinks under the sign and she was sitting there talking on the phone. Drove in for a closer look and I don't think she had any teeth. Decided not to approach. She was probably just homeless, maybe not working. Sometimes those types don't know they're working yet.

But I'm letting you know they're out there and where to look. If you don't want to loiter, I recommend cruising from QT to Taco Bell to CVS and Burger King. Spend 10 min at each place pretending to be a customer. You'll see something eventually.

One problem could be if she has some contraband on her or worse, if she drops it or tried to hide in in your door pocket or something. They could impound your vehicle. Or they arrest her and then you get subpoenaed to show up to testify or something.

And a lot us think we know our gals but do we really? Getting surpised is common, even for seasoned mongers, so as Gastonian says, better to just avoid a problem in the 1st place.

You are right. If a girl drops a joint or drugs in your car it can open up a big can of worms you don't want to deal with.

Too be charged the cop needs probable cause, more likely then not a crime has occurred. If they find a item in the. Interior of a vehicle and no one claims it, all parties are subject to arrest. Under no circumstances should you give consent to search. If the po lice have access to a dog, and have one readily available, they are not trained to detect pharmaceuticals. (usually) While the reward of this hobby is great, the risk is massive and multilayered.

If she happens to drop it in the open like on a seat or a floorboard where it is in plain view and LEO sees it, they have probable cause. It is a can of worms I don't care to deal with.

Don't know if this means anything or not but have y'all considered the fact that since Gastonia has started all this new revitalization on the west side of town that maybe LEO has declared a war on this game?

That LEO and city leaders want to cleanup the west side of Gastonia. Since they built a new baseball stadium on top on the old Budget Inn. But I haven't noticed any increase in LEO presence. Or any decrease in street walkers, and they're really aren't that many anyway. Gastonia will be slow to change. The west side could improve but the bad element will just move to another part of town.

When they condemn Midtown Motor Inn and build a restaurant or condos in it's place, then you'll know they're declaring war on their problems.

Unless you rehabilitate them, lock them up or somehow get rid of them, the problem has to get relocated somewhere else. Changing the lifestyle of these people won't be easy. It is the only life they know.

Was driving north on 321 heading toward the Dallas Ingles, when I saw a sexy blonde streetwalker in pink with a cup and bag from QT. By the time I made a you-turn and turned into Tommy's Restaurant, she entered a room at the Hillside or Hilltop Motel. Any idea who that might have been?

Not streetwalkers per se. There's 3 or 4 girls who beg or hang around the area at the intersection of Hudson and 321. They have a place of abode about a quarter mile south of that intersection so they walk through that area. Also hang near convenience stores etc. In that area. There's a couple that are 3's on a good day, another couple I'd have to put a double bag on their head. Sometimes you'll see them in the parking lot of Clemmers which is the store on the southeast side of that intersection, there's a car wash and laundry in that complex as well. And at times they will stand to the side of the road 100 feet or do on the east side of 321 going northbound. They keep an eye out if they are standing on the side of the road and I'm interested I will drive by slowly and point toward the Clemmers parking lot, they come up to your car and ask if they want to take a ride. Even if they have a guy close by just give them the look and they will scurry away from the guy. Actually over time you can run into different girls walking in that area. They are just begging but more than willing to provide some relief, try going to Martha Rivers park or to the nearby food lion. Happy hunting!

I love when this debate comes up. Do you know how easy it is for a cop to find "probable cause" You know the NC statute for licence plate height? How about the marks on your windshield for tint height? I'm not a cop, I just know some of their traps. PC is not hard to "find" when needed.

I was always amazed at how little it took to pull someone over, like a burned out parking light or someone not turning on a signal when they changed lanes (my favorite, they'd be pulling over 95% of drivers if they enforced that law! Once you are stopped and refuse, if they get a dog they'll find a reason to search. Watching that show it looked to me like they would just say "they dog indicated something, we have cause to search" when the dog looked to me like it gave no indication sometimes and you aren't a dog handler so what can you say. You think these gals would have any qualm about dropping their contraband on the floor or door pocket if they thought they could avoid getting arrested?

And as far as 'packing', that's an argument CC people don't want to hear, but if you have to use that to get your money back or get out of a sticky situation then you've already lost so just take your medicine and leave losing your $$ and not your credit cards, license, car, or life. If their handler breaks in on you and you reach you're a dead man. If you get him, we'll your life just took an terrible turn for the worse with legal issues and getting sued by the family and everything else. Hey I'm a salesman so I've always been able to talk my way out, lick my wounds and live to hobby another day. But hey, within the bounds of the law you do what you think is best.
