Be very cautious, as FB connections can and, for some mongers, have spilled into the their regular non-monger life. Think with the big head before linking up.

Make no connection to your "real" account. Friends, likes. That'll make it easier to keep your profiles from blending.
Use a different web browser. This will keep random suggestions and ads from popping up thanks to how advertising is tracked. Mainly it'll just keep you from wondering why an ad for something you just saw on Amazon is showing up in a Facebook ad.
Max out all the privacy settings. Turn of locations. I do the same with notifications.
