The increase in rates in less than a year is proof that if we continue on the same path, we'll be steadily seeing 200 qv in no time! It's got nothing to do with personal spending. This post initially started in the Advertiser Thread because one person mentioned how out of control asking prices are getting and some others agreed. It was based on a new-to-the-area provider wanting nearly $300 for HH FS and seeing several long time advertisers bumping asking rates to 100 to 150 for QV. For some reason one person got their panties in a wad, needed to play devil's advocate and try to prove what a big spender he is and called in the posse to self-salute the position. I'm sure he, under the guise of the posse will now add a post to this comment and call me a stupid doo-doo head, call anyone I see a skank or say they are has-beens or yesterday's news and also try to insult anyone else who actually makes sense about the subject. I simply won't argue with him endlessly as he quickly loses his temper and often becomes befuddled, which is somewhat funny but mainly I choose not to not argue endlessly with him is because I am of the belief to not go into a battle of integrity, wits and logic against someone who is pretty much unarmed.
I do have two comments about a couple comments in your posts though. One is a rebuttal to what you said and the other is a helpful financial hint to help some to better understand what you are saying.
The rebuttal: It isn't BS that you can get a quality girl for 80 and even 60 for QV FS with a quality girl. The trick is that it can take some work to do it. They aren't always advertisers either although I have also gotten some better known providers (at one time or another) for less than 100 many times. Not left-overs or ones on their way downhill either. Some are from grandfathered rates so to speak as well, some were on their way up. It is a skill that some may or may not possess to negotiate down that low and the key is to make the girl not regret it. I keep my promises NOT to reveal low prices in those situations and live up to my word.
I believe that you don't lack that skill at all, I just believe you choose to go a different path due to your own preferences. I personally am a cheapskate. I will also add that Walmart is a breeding ground for decent women who just want to make a few extra bucks. I'm talking $40 to $75. I was in your same shoes at one time, long before I joined this Forum and although I am not a self-made independently-wealthy man, I do make a very-very healthy living. I would be spending way too much for way too little. Then I realized what you did, you can get more volume of visits for less per visit and be even happier. Great philosophy to live by.

Certainly current prices are out of control. There has always been (IMHO) an illogical discussion of how some guys overpay, and drive up prices for everyone. I have always said this is an illogical discussion, rather than a legitimate one, because everyone is going to do what they're going to do, and that will never change, so why beach about it?
But regarding price increases over this past year specifically, put yourself in the women's shoes. If you rely solely on mongers for your income, and many mongers stop coming because of Covid, then what is your option to continue to make enough to cover your financial obligations? Raising prices is their one and only option. And like someone else said, it doesn't matter one iota "what they're worth" because "they make up the rules as they go". But it's also basic economics. They have the goods and services, and when demand for them goes down, the price for them go up!
So I say: "Buckle up buttercup, it's probably going to get worse before it gets better", LOL!
