Your best bet is to try Figueroa. There is a few SW's in San Fernando Valley. Just be extra careful. LE is extremely aggressive and they conduct stings often.

Even though everyone had been saying that SB had been dead lately, I had some good luck here and there. However, this last week I have not seen any action whatsoever save for maybe one SW who didn't exactly fit my tastes. Am I just going at the wrong hours (11-2 amish), going down the wrong part, or should I just look for a new track? I know Figg is still pretty active but I can't justify going out that far. If anybody knows any active tracks closer to santa Clarita that would be much appreciated.

Los Angeles now has a "loitering with the intent to solicit prostitution" law and you talking to a cop about hiring a hooker is what they nail you for. I think too many people are wise to the "solicitation" law and won't make a deal, so our asshole lawmakers took it back a step to make it easier for lazy cops to give you a court case. They'll bag you for anything barely close to this, so if you are actually talking to the girl about prostitution, this is perfect for them to get you.
If you see her again, she's not a cop. They don't use the same girl twice in the same area, and they spread out the sting operations.
I agree the LE has become quite aggressive with the "loitering with intent to solicit" law in CA and in other states. These days the only thing I will say to a SW is to simply offer her a ride. There is actually case law that allows you to offer a ride. By doing so you can get off if the cops arrest you. Your other option is to ask for a jury trial with a lawyer and see if they prosecutor is willing to drop the case. There is a good possibility the city attorney will drop the case if you have not been arrested for a prostitution related offense. Some prosecutors have said that the 653.22 is a very weak law to begin with. It's really ridiculous because gives the cops the freedom to almost use whatever they to arrest you for loitering. The only other good thing is it's mainly vice cops that use this law.

LAPD is committed to a long term clean-up of Sepulveda. Blame them, the politicians or who ever you like (it's actually due to the increased demand for housing) but the reality is they are cracking down hard on Sep SW. Do what you like, but that's the reality. Stay safe.

Coming back from my workout saw a tall, light skinned BSW, or possibly LSW or WSW, couldn't really tell which but she was on her phone walking at a pretty good clip between Sherman Way and the street where the Western Bagels is (never remember its name). About 5'8", slender, no ass to speak of, and the braided hair extensions that made classifying her all that harder. Did not stop to talk to her.

Asked for 3 Jacksons for a CBJ, only reason why I went with that was that I had been looking for an hour at that point and was about to give up. Low risk, and hard to prove your innocence and they will LITERALLY nail you for nothing and convince you that you somehow did something wrong. I have heard stories of decoy cops approaching guys at coffee shops and taco wagons and blatantly propositioning them, and if the guy says ANYTHING they reel him in. They will badger you and follow you and it is such a pain trying to fight it that most guys cop a bullshit plea deal for John School and a big fine.
2. It is sad that if you have a REAL problem, the cops don't come, and will instead talk down to you like your problem isn't important enough, but plenty of cops to do this crap.

Since SB is a public thoroughfare, and since I live in the area, can someone be cited under the loitering statute just for driving on this street? In the incident in question, I was coming home from my gym which is on SB past Devonshire, was stopped 1 block before the street I turn onto to go home. During the 25 minutes that I sat there with the bright light on, and the flashing blue and reds while Officer Slo mo got his jollies and fill out the fix it ticket, I got a text asking me to stop and pick up some throat lozenges. At that time of night the only place open is the CVS on SB and Sherman Way (its open 24 hrs.). After making my purchase, as I turned off SB to go home, the black and white SUV made a right turn from the middle lane, moved unusually close to my vehicle, opened his window and issued his warning about driving on SB. Since my reasons for doing so were documentable legitimate, I am sure I could have challenged the case in court and won, but my question is had officer prick butt decided to be an ass about it, could he have used the loitering statute to take me into custody and have my car impounded?
