McHenry / Crystal Lake (McHenry County Area)

I thought I'd give the Rt12 Wauconda spa another chance tonight and make the 15 drive to check it out. Walked in and saw the same old bad faces, then proceeded to turn around and walk out. Then decided to give the newer Wauconda spa (next to Ace Hardware on 176) a try. Located in an L shaped strip mall. I recommend parking in the back at the north west corner. There you can take the sidewalk thru the apex of the "L" and get to the spa with very few eyes on you, as opposed to parking out in front of the Ace Hardware. There were 2 girls working, but only got eyes on one. I drew Cindy who is an average, mid 30's Chinese (confirmed) girl who claims to have been there for a week. The rooms where decent, with walls that go all the way up and memory foam on the tables. The massage was above average and her attitude was friendly and playful. Received the full hour and there was no mention of a tip. Good visit and I will return.

I've waited in the parking lot for him to get his hair cut and watched many (BTW, also, mostly men) customers go in and out of their front door too. So based on that criteria maybe they should be careful who they're throwing stones at.

Based on the few X I've gone to Foot Relax, they may be around for a while. I'm moving on. Nothing to see here folks.

The massage was pretty good but nothing extraordinary so I have not returned.

I stripped down and lay on top of the blanket. She opened the door and averting her eyes said no please lay under the sheet. Strike 1. She asked where did I usually go for massages and I said AMPs. She complained they aren't trained or licensed. Strike 2. I commented that I have never had a massage with this much covering. She keeps the blanket on. She acted surprised saying there's rules and such. And. "maybe you prefer the Asian places". Strike 3.

The whole session was very pleasant and she's a sweet girl. But as far as I can tell she's selling bait but no tuna. Waste of a Benjamin.

"I TOFTT with her about a month ago. Somewhat difficult to make contact -- call, leave message, each time. Then sometimes she calls back, sometimes texts. Took two days to finally schedule.

"She was about 10 minutes late for the appointment. Looks reasonably attractive, maybe 10-15 pounds overweight, but not objectionably so, and busty. If it was available, I'd "do her" in a minute, but I kind of doubt it. Very businesslike, leaves the room while I undress and drape with sheet. Massage was OK, not bad but nothing special; has some skills, but I doubt she had much actual training. Did not ask very many questions to do with specifics about why I might want massage therapy. Was very correct with keeping me draped when working on my lower back or legs; no accidental brushing of any kind, or leaning legs against my arms or anything like that. With the benefit of hindsight, I may have not given her signals that I was open for more services. She talked a lot, making conversation, but not overly nosy. Seemed friendly, but pretty neutral. Gave mostly general answers to my questions.

After I was dressed again, she gave me a very nice hug, so I feel those babies against my chest. I took that as kind of a hint that MAYBE more might be available on later visits. My thoughts were that if she contacted me again, I'd probably see her again. I do partake in legit massages fairly regularly, but her legit massage skills were not good enough for the money for that to be my only goal with her. No further contact from her as yet.

"If others report HE results from her, I'd see her again, but otherwise, I've done my duty, gentlemen!

She claimed to be an LMT, but I really doubt it. Never offered to show me her license; then again, I never asked to see it. If a decent HE was available, who cares about no stinking' license! If only a legit massage, it had better be really good for that price, and it wasn't that good. Would have been marginally OK at the 60 to 70 price point. More likely, she worked somewhere where legit MT was being done, and has picked up on some of the procedures, but if she's going to really act like a professional LMT, she wouldn't advertise that way and operate out of a space 30 miles from her day job. And rethinking my earlier post, her ads are, actually, Very Suggestive. Anyone running ads like that should expect to be asked for more, and not get angry about being asked.

Anyone else have other experience with her?

Then she says how do I know your not🌟I asked her how she wanted to verify. No response, I left after sitting there for 20 minutes. Very disappointed, if there was a concern on her part. I wish she would have addressed it before setting up a date. Having me drive out then putting the breaks on frustrated me. But I understand her concerns. I would be willing to verify for her and try again. Only because I am a patient man. But some may not be so patient.

Took another run at the new AMP in Wauconda. Its located in the same strip mall as the Ace Hardware on Rt176. Opted for the stealth parking in the back and had an easy in and out by using the back door. I drew Sophie, who I would guess to be in her early / mid 30's. Nice girl who gave a really good massage with an above average amount of energy exerted. I received the full 60 minutes and there was never a mention of tip. I'll be back. All good.
