It doesn't provide any definition of what constitutes body work and is so poorly worded that it could apply to beauty shops, barbers and all kinds of other businesses. IAC I expect we'll see the same thing occur in Providence as happened in St Petersburg, FL when they tried this and all the AMPs became aroma therapy salons.

[BLUE]One of the curses of a free forum is, well, it's free. Anybody can join. One of the hardest things for me to figure out is when there is an invasion of shills like what happened here this week. I changed the titles and banned the ones I was sure of SpaHunterUSA, RedSox1980, and Steel1973, Shills no doubt. Joblo not so much, he has a low post count but joined a long time ago.

As with most of you guys I'm always suspicious of new members till they get some history but it would keep the threads cleaner if you just reported the post so I could look into it.

UNder exceptions, barbers and beauticians are listed and are exempt from this ordinance.

I suspect one of the main attempts of the ordinance is to ensure that those working at said spas are documented. Allegedly, some of the workers in these types of spas are working there against their will.

The decency and sanitation section sound more like a recommendation than enforceable code. The documentation required with regard to employees and ownership will be harder for a spa to abide by than the decency recommendations. And no more late nights.

Called DT last night around 1030. Was informed "Seven not here anymore. She not come back. ". Just my luck. Hopefully she was mentoring someone to fill her shoes. Any additional info would be welcome.

Personal opinion -- too soon to say how or how much this will affect the spas and their customers. I suspect that the spa owners have their lawyers sifting through the law to find a work-around. There probably will be a bit of a shake-up and our habits and old customs may need alteration.

I don't get my shorts tied into knots over this stuff easily. Despite all efforts against it, this is a profession that has persisted and even grown for a *VERY* long time. Providence is trying to legislate toothpaste back into the tube, which rarely works out.

Wait for the dust to settle and go from there.

Went and took the plunge here. Will not repeat. Drew plain Jane, a skinny K girl. Massage at best was ok. TS was good. Up selling and settle for. 8 plus. 6 in the door. Bikini Top came off and she displayed the bees. Looked and tasted ok. Rushed and up selling turned me off. Total. 6 and. 4.

Had a nice time with Jenny (Ginny?) last night down in La Prov. The Chimi trucks were out, it was a nice night, and I enjoyed a good session. Sauna, TS, "massageee" and the main event were all very pleasant. She was a typical K-Gal, said she'd been here a few months. Youngish but not young. Maybe 30? House plus usual tip for everything.

No haggle, helped me put my shoes on. Hot towel but no alcohol spray, so if your a germ-o-phobe bring your own.

Nice time, dry sauna warm up was nice.
