In (apparent) contrast to others here, I've had good luck at Jen's lately. I usually go there in the afternoon late in the week. The ratio of dancers to customers is good then, and it's more laid-back. The last time I was there at night (more than eight months ago) , one got the feeling that serious violence could break out at any time. But daytime is different. Several dancers have told me the same. I think the saner ones prefer the day shift.

Just my opinion but I think finding a sane dancer there is harder than winning the lottery.

I don't think you'll find very many sane women in that line of work anywhere. But the day shift dancers are, on average, less drugged-out and desperate. This leads to saner, but still interesting, behavior. And, like I said, the ratio is better.

The same person or persons also destroyed the front door? I couldn't find a police report online, but I can certainly believe it.
Is 1245 still open? I don't see any reports but I always had my best luck in and out of the club in that place.

Last time I popped in, it was looking VERY rough. Not "Cutie Pie's" rough, but rough all the same.
By the way, Cutie Pie's may be closed, too. I never see any cars in the lot.

It seemed like they were open for 4 or 5 hours for the dancers to make their hook ups. If Jens gets a bad rep and starts to die out maybe Cy will try to make more out of 1245 again.

I was in the Club two weeks ago. It opens Tuesday-Sunday at 8pm. The dancers request that they close early on slow nights so that they can go to Jens. Dancers start asking around 10pm. There was a 7 and a possible 8 (did not get a close look) mostly 4s. 5s, and 6s. These girls like to party and if you are there it is a lot of fun. They changed to a Jens bartender which was an upgrade to the Asian guy.
I made the rounds Friday evening (Lusty's, OGD, Playpen and Gatsby's) , and can report that I was surprised there isn't more chatter about Gatsby's (near the ghost mall) than I've previously seen on here; in my estimation, it has the best set of dancers in any Akron club that I've seen. I had never been to the southeast Akron clubs, and decided to check them out. I started at Playpen, which was basically empty at 5:00 (a single dancer and 6 of her male friends) ; the bartender, who was just working her second day on the job, said the cops raided the place the previous night; they were looking for drugs, and although they didn't find any, they did apparently have a dancer offer a BJ for $60 (a proposition that landed her in the clink) ; the bartender said Gatsby's was raided as well last Thursday, but didn't know about any arrests. I ran across the street to Gatsby's and got a half dozen table dances from a tall blonde (name?) , and a very skinny brunette (name?) , before settling into the VIP with Renee (short blond hair, very nice falsies, fantastic personality). Gatsby's has a bartender with a killer body who was wearing a tiny bikini (nice touch) ; and there were 3-4 other girls that I didn't get a chance to meet (but would have liked to, time permitting) ; no riff-raff, just nice looking, pleasant girls; no extras likely, but so what? ; I will return to this place soon, and likely often.
According to another site that. Lists. Stripclubs, Gatsby's wasn't raided last Thursday. Looks like one of the dancers is claiming that anyway.

He was friendly enough, didn't pester you to buy another beer but was there if you wanted one. And because he was only one guy and fairly laid back he really didn't watch the VIP real close. I had some VIP fun last year and made a few OTC hook ups.

Looks like 2 others were arrested, but I can't find their mugshots.
Stopped in to Georgie's last night to burn some time. There were several girls working, but only a few that were worth anything. Got a few dances at the bar and at the tables. Always like to take a few test drives before I take a private. Was getting ready to go in the back when the bartender (older one) caught someone in the back giving a BJ. Decided to skip the back for the night. Wanted to give the heads up for anyone who stops by there to be careful when the older bartender is working.
First time I've been out in a minute. Stopped at the Playpen on Friday afternoon. Not too busy, but no place was. Had 3 dancers. Candy from OGD has found a new home at the Playpen, Capricorn was there, and a nice MILF whose name I forgot, Terri maybe. Nice dances from her, better from Candy, and really nice from Capricorn. Gisela was tending bar. Nice.
