All it takes is one girl to be somewhat successful and word spreads creating hope for the rest.

But yeah, I've noticed that most of the newer, hotter college age girls are looking for platonic relationships only. And I think SA's marketing sells them on the idea that some dashing, wealthy, handsome older guy is going to take them on vacations to exotic locales, eat the best food, ride in limousines, and pay their bills for them, and all the girls have to do is show up, look hot, and nod and listen appropriately.
I mean, maybe this happens occasionally. But I imagine that these rich guys who can pay top dollar for the company of a young hottie are expecting a bit more than just "companionship. ".

I'm sure there are a handful of extremely wealthy men out there who will shell out that kind of cash. For a model they think they can wind up bedding, anyway. The girls who try to pull this are cute, but not models. Most are spoiled and not serious about actually earning their money, anyway.
You said it yourself: SA really has to market itself more to the young, college demographic and part of that is selling the fantasy that there's a Prince Charming out there who just want to shower them with gifts and pay all their bills. The girls are what brings the guys in and make the site work. But girls don't want to call themselves "escorts," even when they are.
My funniest ones were 19 year olds who were maybe an 8 on a scale of 10 but wanted $800 to go out to dinner and made it perfectly clear they were "not an escort" and nothing physical would ever happen.

Never hurts to ask, and in accordance with free market economics, what a girl's company is worth is exactly what someone is willing to pay for it, no more and no less. But I would think that these hypothetical rich older guys are almost all married, and they can't be seen in public with a woman who is not their wife, and who is young enough to be their daughter (or granddaughter.).
I also think that some of these 7's and 8's have an unrealistic outlook, based on the fact that in modern society's hookup culture, they are constantly being told how hot they are, and how cool / smart / interesting they are by younger guys who will say anything to try to get into their pants. So they start to believe it after a while. Hey, the pleasure of my company must be VERY valuable!

The thing we need to remember about that site is that it's very much a buyer's market. SDs who are serious and willing to pay are fairly scarce, from what the girls have told me, and if they're going to shell out and go through all these hoops, they want girls who are attractive and going to take care of them, which is only maybe 25% of the girls on there, at best.
We hold the cards here. Being a man with money is like being a girl with great looks and SA is the reverse of every "dating" site out there.
