I am just sharing what I have read on legal pages and newspaper articles over the years. NJ used to print your picture and town you reside in, in the local paper of where the arrests were made. It is a lot more lenient in Philly.

First, everyone always comes up with the word "entrapment" as an excuse of a reason that will get them off of a solicitation or prostitution charge. My reading of the legal definition is that Law Enforcement needs to coerce, force or induce a person to do something illegal that they otherwise would not do. So picking up a girl in a known prostitution area seems like it blows that "otherwise wouldn't do" part away. Entrapment is what is called an "affirmative defense" which means the defendant has to prove they were entrapped, rather than presumed innocent until proven guilty. So that requires a lawyer and money, as it isn't something you can claim or whip out like a get out of jail free card.

Defense attorneys quickly pointed out the constitutional problems with such and the site was take down. Who knows what some small town might do?

I don't recall it happening recently, but then again, there have not been that many sting operations since Covid.
As far as the legality of that being published, arrest records are public information. So I don't think the media would have any backlash from posting it.

HugeMats not wrong at all, a super paranoid girl and fidgeting like crazy will ruin the mood. Same would've happened to most of ya'll it was a weird experience indeed. If I ever go back to the SW scene (Since Sam was never a regular just saw a few favorites and would lurk for something nice evey now and then I realized but I'm an AMP guy and always will be an AMP guy as trying escorts failed miserably LOL. Still can't believe how there were so many scams just crazy.
