Just going to be brief here. I'm taking a knee for a minute and I don't know how long. I've enjoyed myself throughout the years but lately the lack of enjoyment I've experienced has dwindled. I think it has more to do with what's been available. The amount of time that I've been putting in isn't been reciprocated in the return. Not saying good provider's aren't out here, I'm only saying that too me the time to dig isn't worth it. The past few new experiences I've encountered werent bad but just lackluster. Not to mention the just typical run of the mill missed calls, late replies or no replies at all have made me frustrated. I've thought of doing this for quite a while now.

I'm not retiring because I still have a couple die hard regulars that have been my only solace. I just think it's time for me to take a sabbatical on anything new while I plot my next move. I need to clean my hard drives and phone and focus on starting a business.

The hobby is just different because of technology & a plethora of other factors. Quite different from when I got in the game many moons ago. I'm just trying to navigate in this new terrain like the many of you.

Maybe it's a combination of old age and just getting a little bit jaded. Luckily I still enjoy photographing the ladies. Otherwise I also might take a knee! 🙁.

And I've also had conversations with several other guys about the same thing. So many of us are losing our joy for the hobby, and it's a combination of things that is contributing to it. The part that has changed the most for me is the finding of new, quality talent that is affordable. A lot of ladies complain that guys are cheap, as for me, I don't mind paying, but I simply can't afford the 140,150 hhr ladies because I hobby regularly, sometimes twice a week, BUT, it's with a small group of ladies that give me good rates, they know that I'll see them regularly.

And I try new girls, but 8 out of 10 times I'll leave the session thinking that I should have visited one of my regulars, because I paid more and received lackluster service. I think for most of us, the joy of finding 'new', is what attracted us to the hobby, but the lack of quality new is disheartening. Not to mention that if you do find quality, and report it, they will 1st, raise there prices because of the demand, and 2nd, won't have time for you anymore because guys are breaking their doors down, and even if you've helped them, their memories are very short. I definitely feel your pain, but I'm thankful for my solid core regulars.
