Here's my solution. Note the time when you start, if you get cut short, tell the MT and only tip 40 or 50 depending on the time lost. Makes sure she knows why the tip is a bit low. On the massage, refuse the MTs that you believe will give a poor massage. If you have one that unexpectedly gives a poor massage reduce the tip and tell her why.
