It just happens to be in the form of a reply to one poster, but is NOT intended as a direct rebuke to that poster, just a general comment on the hobby and the way many choose to engage in it. My apologies to Nmess if he feels singled out, not my intent![/I]

Anyone is free to monger however they wish and take any and all risks as it relates to their personal safety using personal risk tolerance levels: be it through direct knowledge, through ignorance (lack of knowledge or information) or just ignoring the advice of others who have gone before. So hey, when a dude comes on a thread and states that a girl is on a "no fly list" one is always free to ignore that caution or advice, because after all they have had no issues with the girl in the past. I'll say this about the hobby: [B]one is lucky until one's luck runs out![/B].

When one sees negative comments, one has to decide: Perhaps the dude had a bad experience with the girl and thus is slamming her? Perhaps he wants to keep others away from her so that he can keep her all to himself? Perhaps the dude is her BF and trying to get her out of the business? All valid possibilities. I mean when a guy has given a girl a positive review, and abruptly changes course, perhaps that should give pause?

But there are other possibilities too, ones that perhaps the average monger does not expect or often encounter. So when a dude bothers to make a statement that a girl is 'no fly' then ignoring that warning is any dude's prerogative. Me? I usually say "Hmmm" and collect some information: is the dude new? Does he know what he is talking about? Are there other ways to confirm what he said or clarify it? Have I searched the forums and gotten all of the history of the situation?

OH WAIT! It just hit me! MY BAD! I forgot the "new style" around here is to completely ignore history. After all we all know history is boring and useless: just post on a message board and all info will be shared. But WAIT! What if one ignores that shared info? What if the answer to what was being stated was in fact pretty easy to find when one used the search function on this site? Would that constitute a error of omission or ignorance?

The threads and the posters are a wonderful resource and are here to help mongers out. Any monger is free to ignore the advice here or just plain not search for it. There are risks inherent in this hobby, how you choose to do your homework or not, use the advice of others, or not is certainly anyone's choice.

Me? I prefer to engage with heads up, eyes wide open and as much information as I can find.

Does any one know the mid twenties redhead that seems to be on ULA a lot. I've seen her around off and on for the last year. She used to have bright fake red hair but it's much more natural red now. She's very skinny has kind of a pointy nose. Sometimes she wears pink pajama bottoms and almost always a hoodie.

She is usually with a twenties Italian looking guy that's slightly shorter than her. I believe they used to live in tents up near union and penn ave. Then I think they were staying somewhere up near MDA and DuPont.

They seem to be in all the same social circles as the rest of the girls out there but they never seem to know who Im talking about. She never gives me the time of day. She's blown me off twice now when Ive caught her without her guy friend around. Does anyone know who she is and if she dates?

While I admit I did not search for Lucky specifically before the post, I keep up to date enough with the boards to feel comfortable not having to search most of the time (I'm usually able to at least give each comment in the DE boards a passing glance). Given my personal history and what I remember about recent-ish comments about Lucky, I posted my 2 cents and moved on with my day.

As always Ceph is spot on and gives excellent advice, once again appreciate the concern and I echo the sentiment for all you gents to stay safe!

Seen Shannon out on the usual spot the other day. She was looking OK. Was headed to pick up GF, so only stopped to chat. She was glad to get in out of the cold for a bit. Drove her to the bodega near the pharmacy and tossed her a 'no thank you' gift for her time. She was grateful.

Later, was out and saw Paul's Ashley posted up by the Safety Supply and later down getting close to Union. Think I seen Stacy waiting for the inbound bus on Lanc. She was with another older gal, so who knows. Also seen another girl with long dark coat and fur trimmed hood.

But later seen two girls walking along on another street. Circled back and as I did a spinner type ran across the street. Got close and got the look from the remaining girl and she walked down the block and hopped in. She was looking for a ride! She had on a hooded coat with salmon head band and sunglasses. [B]Said her name was Dallas![/B] Almost dropped her off when she told me that. When s he took off her sunglasses she looked familiar. Said she was often mistaken for Bella. But Shannon told me Bella got locked up, so who knows? Same girl?

Anyway, nice girl to talk to. Friendly. What is the acronym CL uses? She read me some poetry, Her use of the tongue in forming the sylables was excellent. I bet she could twist a cherry stem into a knot! Would repeat if she can be found.

I met Amy the other day. Definitely good girl. Thick, blonde, busty. She hangs at MDA and Lancaster. Digits for seniors.

I picked up a little spinner mid 20's, was wearing pj bottoms and had long black hair. Said her name was Lenny, was crazy skinny. Gave great poetry reading, but can't stress how skinny she was. Afterwards she kept falling asleep in the car on the ride back. Said it was from weed, yeah right. Oh yeah she had some extremely dry patch of skin on her upper thigh said it was eczema, glad I always wear a hat and only went for some poetry reading.
