Thanks for the props. My first sales manager was a very wise man and one of the things he told me was that guys who work hard seem to "get lucky" and "make it look easy." I am sure Cooky would tell you the same thing: you can't expect to find great women on the strolls if you don't have the time or perseverance to find them (and/or get great digits in the process).

It's not so bad. In fact, it's extremely safe during the day. There are many business establishments, and even shoppers in certain areas of the K. LE is all over the place and, while we might complain about that some times, they ironically keep the Ave relatively safe for trolling.
I have even mongered after dark but usually in the earlier part of the evening. SW, LE AND monger presence is even higher then, and I still find it relatively safe. That doesn't mean you have the luxury of ever letting your guard down or not being cautious, but by avoiding the Ave entirely it is like you are hooked on chocolate and are afraid to visit Hershey, PA, lol.

My digital camera can make short videos and I have, on occasion, made some videos of a hot BJ or a SW talking filthy dirty to me. The problem with a video is that you need so much friggin LIGHT! That is especially true in such a dimly lit place as the Carlyle, but even in a nice motel, there isn't enough light, even with all the lights on and the shades open. You either have to bring along your own light sources or take the video right under a bright lamp (and even that is not bright enough).
Even if you bring light sources, you need a way to mount them (tripod) and direct them to your subject (light umbrellas). All of this begins to be more like work to me than recreation.
I see that Freaklikdat often takes videos. My guess is that he either has everything arranged at his own "studio" or has an equipment package, including the essential lights, that he carries around with him. I give him credit for that if that's what he likes to do. I am just a humble amateur SW photojournalist and I do what I do because that's the way I like to do it, and it involves minimal hassle or special equipment.
Even if I did make videos, and I am getting a lot better at the computer as it regards this site, but I still have absolutely no idea how to upload a video here as opposed to a still pic. I suppose I would have to create a webpage, place the videos on the webpage, and provide you with the links, or send them selectively by email. This entails a great deal of work and risk, with which I would just rather prefer not to be encumbered.

That and work prvent me from going out during the day. And the "wife" would probably question where I was going if I went out at night.
So it's not so much puss as well, time, opportunity, and well... being a puss.

"A little birdie" told me that Alexus really got on her high horse after making such a big initial splash in the nominations for SW of the Year 2009 contest. I guess she started taking her own "press clippings" too seriously because there have been several reports since on here about her less than usually good service. Now she is not returning phone calls promptly. I myself have called her a number of times, and she called back a few days later, thinking that I was going to be available right then for a date when it suited HER schedule?
The same "little birdie" told me that Alexus isn't getting nearly the number of calls she used to for dates. Well no wonder, if you are going to give poorer service, not answer your phone and be calling back days later, and jacking your prices way above the normal Ave rates.
Alexus, and all the other SWs on the K who want to attract good clients, are going to have to learn that the same rules apply on the K as for any product or service in the marketplace. If you overprice, have lousy customer relations and reduce the quality of your service, then there is just going to be one result, and it isn't a good one.
