No dice on prego
So, saw Georges post about prego, and jammed on down. Got to the Zona about 5:15 pm Friday evening. I immediately hit the former schoolgirl corner (I call it former since I haven't seen them there for awhile). No prego to be found. I went one block each direction from that intersection.
Went to La Tropical, my new fav spot. I walk in and now waiter recognizes me. I think I'm going to be hitting the Tropical every Friday now. Anyway, my friend points to two extremely attractive girls just chilling with a bucket of beers. "Adeiltas day shift girls. " One is a smoooooking 10 or 10, double "D" chest, slim spinner build wearing a clingy tight dress. Other one was attractive and my friend said hes been upstairs with her a couple times, with good reports. So next Friday I might shoot down earlier to grab the taller one. Anyway, kick back a few brews. Head to the "outside girls"street.
I see smoking hot spinner in red dress up the street from school girl row, but when I come back down she's gone. Head back down street behind AB and HK and go to my "usual" spot where theres a nice looker. Go upstairs (didn't get name this time). We go to room and we are talking, getting ready when I notice movement in my peripheral. I check the bathroom, door is locked. I said to the girl, "I think we have company. " She checks, says something in Spanish and get a female respone. Apparently the girl in before decided to take a break, and manager / room lady didn't notice she hadn't left. Anyway she hurries on out and now every one is laughing (me, new friend, and hotel room attendant).
Good session and despite being somewhat inebriated, tired, and rubbing one out a few hours before Tijuana (was originally going to skip but Georges post gave me the push to go anyway), I actually had no problem finishing. Just something magical about LSW brown skin and watching those light pink lips (not the ones she kisses with). I brought my phone down this time around to ask for a kitty pic, but I was enjoying too much and didn't want to stop to grab it.
Im not being too specific on the girl this time around because in the one particular spot every time its a different girl. Id love to see Andrea again, but despite going same times, its been diff girls. There are others there regularly but not my 1st choice.
Anyone hooked up with taller very slightly heavier (150 maybe) SW near HK back door that always wears micro bikini with fishnet stockings? She looks bangin but lately Ive been favoring the petite, spinners.

She was desperate enough to go BBFS with me and she had her clothes being kept at the Hotel Campamento for nonpayment so she was super glad to see me. Her babybump was way out and hanging even from the other time I saw her. She said she won't be on the streets again until she can work at HK again.

Actually one of the Mexican immigration agents stamped my passport when I visited Tijuana the day.
I do not believe they stamp passports on a regular basis however.
I don't recall seeing it posted here but if you have never been to Mexico, you're worried about a SO seeing a stamp. Don't be.
Mexico doesn't stamp your passport for a 1-6 hour day trip to Tijuana.
Often I see "hey goin to be in town in a month or more, where should I go?" I say,"Tijuana. " If you don't have a passport, get one. Maybe you have it in time, if not, you will the next time. Don't think about it. Just do it. I also suggest getting the passport card as thats much easier to carry and I just leave mine in my wallet.
If you do have one, pack it first so you don't forget. If you're feeling sketchy due to scary reporting, past experiences, etc. Put that behind you. Tijuana is really cleaning up crime at least around Zona. Theres a huge micro brewery explosion of businesses too.
Knowing Spanish helps, but not required to have a good time. Taxi drivers who know 0 English will know "Adelitas" and "border line" (or border crossing). The Mexican official will ask, "where are you going" or length of stay, just say, "meeting a friend at the bar for 2-3 hours and then back to US." Theyll fill out a card, youll sign, and youre on your way. The card has never been needed again (eg to leave or asked for by local PD). When you come back, US BP will ask, "Are you bringing back anything?" I always just say "no" or "memories of some good beers." They will likely ask 1-2 questions to verify you are you (e.g if your passport says you were born in Tuscon, youll likely gt asked," What high school did you graduate from in Tuscon?" Its not because he went there or recognizes you, he is gauging your response. If you reply, "Ive never been in Tuscon," you probably have secondary screening and a lot of time sitting in your immediate future : D Remember, he sees thousands of people a day, so hes askingeasy questions to just see if theres signs of deception. If youre calm and candid, youllbe fine.
Just thought I'd throw that out as I read throughSW, National City and other SD forums with travelers asking the same question to often no response. I always think, "just do Tijuana," but rarely reply.
I forgot to mention but my last trip to TJ, I hit the border at midnight (had to be at work at 6am) on Saturday night and still no line. There was 7 people ahead of me in "Ready" line (with 4 USBP officers so we breezed through) and 14 in "general line, all travelers."
Passports
Actually one of the Mexican immigration agents stamped my passport when I visited Tijuana the day.
I do not believe they stamp passports on a regular basis however.
They have had the option to stamp passports for years. I worked in Juarez back in the 90's and they often stamped the passports of people that requested temporary 30 day work permits. (Back then you could use a birth certificate and we always encourage people to do that since they never stamped a birth certificate) Or they stamped people they thought they could get money out of later. Today it is still probably more of the same, if they stamp it. If they don't it is more likely they are just being lazy.I also learned that each Aduanas(Customs) location managed and interpreted the rules and regulations differently. Mostly the most advantageous way to make money.

It all depends on the person you get in line.

Ihave noticed theyre not consistent on the card filled out for customs going in. Last Friday I said exactly what I've said every other time, "2-3 hour stay to drink beers and eat dinner with a friend," and she just waved me through. I would guesstimate 3 out of 10 trips I get wave through and the other 7 they fill out the card.

5/23 report
I took a cruise to the zona on a Monday afternoon. Man the traffic on the 101 and the 405 was horrendous. Dealing with that la traffic. We got there around eight. I showed my passcard. And the girl filled out the form and asked a few question. Signed the form and on my way. Took the taxi that drops you off right in front of adelitas. Went with a buddy. Checked out a lot of bars. Forgot the name of the bar on the corner in the alley across the street from the malquerida bar. But I would not recommend that bar cause those fucking waiters are a pain in the ass. And they have their hands out for cash. Told him no tip and left the bar. But my buddy got a girl from there for about $65 for the room and girl. Checked out valentinas bar. I thought it was a cool bar and nobody bothered you. Didn't see anything that I liked. We went to the hk bar and they always have talent in there. We checked out las chavelas and I really liked this place and it reminds me of adelitas bar. Checked out tropical bar across the street and they did the remodel and it looked different from the last time I saw it.

1st time trip to Tijuana
I will be coming to Tijuana soon and would like to get some help with logistics. I will be traveling on a motorcycle and was wondering if any of the 24 hour parking places are safe to leave a bike for a couple days? My other option is to rent a cheap motel close to the border. Either way I will be staying in Tijuana. I am coming from Tucson. I do go to Nogales fairly frequently and enjoy the only SC still operating there. It can be fun, with some hot girls to play with. Nothing like Tijuana. I do feel comfortable going to Mexico, and don't think I will stand out as a newbie. I have read the last dozen pages here and think I will be fine. I am an older guy, but in pretty good shape. Any info you guys can give me will be much appreciated.

I know the area both south and north of the border well. Is that all there is left in Nogales is 1 club to go to? I remember years ago there used to be a bunch. Safe travels. Moe.

Love Them Spinners
Was waiting to cross over to San Ysidro and found out the wait is real long. Did my peso thing and walked around the Zona. Saw the spinner sister of my ATF walking on Ninos Heroes. She stopped to buy something so I caught up to her. She said let's go. Music to my ears. Went to my usual ST hotel. The usual GFE and I know an old guy like me loses length but that's good because she can dt me with licking the balls. Total GFE and I nut hard as usual pounding her 80 lbs as usual in mish. Told her I was going to have to kill a couple of hours waiting for the line to thin. She agreed to accompany me to a place on Revolution between 6th and 7th. Got a bucket of Tecates and two orders of chicken wings. Talked about her going on vacation with me. Her sister that had the asthma attack now has partial memory back. Don't know if she remembers me. Funny the spinner warned me that she didn't have her I. D. with her when we went to the bar. She is 33 but is 4 ft 8 in and 80 lbs so she still gets carded. I wish I could afford to take this one off the market. She could make me a one woman man again.

George, do you walk from the border cross area to Zona? Last trip down I made a point of watching the arch in relation between getting in the taxi (at the crossing) and getting out at AB (usually I busy looking at girls by this point) and it seems like a pretty short walk.
So now I'm thinking of using $10 per trip on beers rather than taxis.
What do you think? 10 years ago I know that was a potentially dangerous route if you didn't know where to avoid but don't know if that's still the case.

Walking to the Zona is safe. Even at night things are safe. I typically try to walk with other people. I do avoid using the stairs when there is not other people around. There usually police on or near the pedestrian bridge.

Maybe late at night it's better to taxi it from the Zona to the border. It's only about a 20 minute walk. Just walk at a brisk pace and walk boldly like don't mess with me or you will get hurt if you try anything.

I would not walk back to the border at night intoxicated at all. Whenever you been drinking use a taxi. Also, some parts of the walk can be isolated. Meaning dark streets and not that many people out. There is one block right at the arch that is somewhat dangerous or so I've heard. I always walk around this area. Even during all the bs with cartel violence over the years I've never had a problem walking around Tijuana. Make sure not to have any drugs or medications on you and be aware of your surroundings you should be fine. I take a taxi 50% of the time. The other 50 I walk. Just depends on my mood. Moe.
