Went by several KBs tonight: D'Amour, Sky Lounge, Romantei, Sandy & Jens, Mayas. Every place real slow. Sky didn't have any girls-only busty bartender. D'Amour had a few girls but they seemed to be sitting with the handful of customers there. Heard about breakins at Fire and Ice, CK, and Vegas II last week, decided to try MPs and KBs with safer parking arrangements. Ended up at MP Excel. See my report on that forum. Because of the slow season this might be the time to get some cheap play at KB.

I'm a regular with the MPs, but I want to give the KBs a try.

Sometimes I just want to have a drink and relax in a place with some nice eye candy. So tell me. Is it acceptable to visit a KB and just drink without a woman? I would like to go and check things out and see what's there before buying drinks right away. Is it better to sit at the bar in that case?

I have no problem buying drinks and enjoying time with company, but I like to look around before. See how the different ladies treat the men first. Would it be ok to just have a couple beers and leave without having anyone join me?

It's okay to sit at the bar and have a few to check out the environment. Just politely decline any invitation to have someone sit with you at the bar. I've done the same at some bars before having company. Remember, you're the customer and in control in a bar.

The last time I seen Sunny, she asked me to come down to her new place of employment.

I havent been to LH since their closing. So I went down to see Sunny, ended up buying her 2 drinks and HJ/BBBJTCIM. She told me, I miss your chagi, your chagi still big, next time, we go get one hotel room, or go back to her place.

Since then, she's called me 2x. Im asking the OGs for some suggestions. Scoff, laugh, diss, tease, mock all you want, I still aint got no complaints in RL with the SO.

My question is, why is she callin me still.

Regardless, hope you guys all had a better Xmas than I did.

So how much would it all come out to at the end of the night at Korean bars? I've been reading stuff about it for some time and LH seems like the place to go. I know I buy her a couple of drinks in the beginning, but do I tip her in the end; and if I do, how much?

HawaiiJoe[/QUOTE]I would always sit at the bar to check out the action. If you sit in a booth they will always come and ask if you want company. If they come to me at the bar and I am not interested, I would either say either maybe later or maybe next time (all depending if I wanted to play).

Like to see which ones are hot and which ones are gold diggers, I realize they are trying to make money, but there are those that are nice and don't try to make you buy so many drinks as long as you understand when they leave to sit with another customer for awhile.

I know I'm not an old guard, but for what it is worth she is probably comfortable with you and likes doing you. It happens when you give girls your number. I have a few that call me, they want me to come down to the club or amp. I gotten some where we go to their place or a hotel. What I like about that is that no need worry about LE or being rushed. Usually stay with the girl all night. This will allow me to do the girl maybe 2-3 times, go sleep, wake up and do her 1-2 more time in the morning before leaving. I will end up tipping the girl anywhere from $$$$-$$$$$, but I think its worth it considering the time and amount of times I end up popping.

HawaiiJoe[/QUOTE]Actually when I go into new kb's or kb's that I haven't been into awhile I just sit at the bar and check out the whole experience. Good to watch the girls, you can usually tell the hustlers because they are the ones that keep going up for drinks every few minutes. Better to stay away from them as you end up spending some bucks (and who knows what you get for it). Beware as the waiter could be bringing drinks for the girl so just because you don't see her come up to the bar doesn't mean she isn't soaking the guy. If a girl or girls come up to solicit you, you can just say that you are taking it easy for now. I usually just check out the place first to see if it is worth spending money on a girl, sometimes you can see the mama trying to hustle the girls to get more drinks from the customer, or sometimes you can see the mama or bartender padding the "tab" that a customer has. If you ever open up a tab, keep track of your drinks and her drinks as they sometimes try to add on a few drinks extra to make more from you.

Anyone have anything to report on Mayas since she took it back from Yuri? Drove by there couple days ago and it seemed pretty dead.

Agree with Tiger there. I like sitting at the bar next to the ordering station because you might be able to see all of the girls that work there when they come up to order the drinks for their customers or themselves. Not only that, you can see which ones consistently come back and forth for more drinks and are "money hunnies". Of course, there are some that rely on other girls to get up and get the drinks, but sooner or later, most will be up there. If you see something you like, you can strike up a conversation right there.
