RE: Facebook Links to Nowhere
You guys notice all of a sudden lots of girls have links to Facebook pages that don't take you to anything remotely verifiable for them? Unless I have some setting on my Facebook that's filtering them or something I don't understand it.
For example:
http://boston.backpage.com/WomenSeekMen/alexa-back-in-town-for-the-weeknd-young-funandflirty-sexy-blonde-vixon-cum-play-w-me/49252747
From what a provider told me, they are now required to put in a Facebook and or Instagram link when they post an ad. Most of the providers are putting in fake links just to post the ad. A few of the Instagram links are valid though, but I highly doubt any of the Facebook ones are, (or at least they shouldn't be).
ILH.
Facebook / Instagram look
BP had introduced two new requirements to place an ad in the dating section:
1. No more free ads - $1 per ad.
2. A social media address is requried. They don't check the validity of the address. You just need to enter one.

ILH.
Key words there being "shouldn't be". I've noticed a few who actually posted their real social media profile. Case in point:
I have a feeling Backpage is doing something automatic (but what, I don't know) when an ad is posted. I saw one girl write "please ignore Facebook link".
I saw one post that said that, and it appeared to be her real fb page. I'm guessing these girls don't realize Backpage is going to publish that link in their post (they probably think it's private, like their email address). Once she noticed it, she probably added that line hoping no one would follow the link, instead of just changing it to something bogus.
No one ever accused them of being the brightest bulbs.
