Most of the providers are putting in fake links just to post the ad. A few of the Instagram links are valid though, but I highly doubt any of the Facebook ones are, (or at least they shouldn't be).

1. No more free ads - $1 per ad.

2. A social media address is requried. They don't check the validity of the address. You just need to enter one.

As far as screening goes, I have several references from providers, but they are mostly in the Mid West and West Coast. I have one reference in NY I could probably use, but the problem is that providers usually want local references. I'm not sure about Boston providers, but I have run into this several times before. Chicago was the worst and no one even answered my calls or texts until I changed the number to a local area code and then they all answered. I ended up having to see a local provider that I didn't really find attractive, but was well reviewed and I could use for a reference. I would prefer not having to go that route this week, but will do it if necessary.
