It is a lot of work that is for sure. Most replies I get are people playing or they never show up. I have one now who has been emailing me for over a week to schedule, but every time something comes up. And getting them to send a picture is an act of congress.

I immediately received 10 responses when I posted my ad, all SPAMS. I finally had a young one who sent a PIC and was responding well. Then it went to, "I am on my way." and she has been on her way for a week. Then four days later she asked was I up for a massage. I did have one show up after a lot of back and forth, now she wants to be friends and hit me up daily. Thank goodness Stewie came to the rescue with a solid one. This is just a PSA about Craigslist and the fact there are a lot of SPAMS.

Any tool or service can be misused. We can't take such risk without jeopardizing all our other services, so we are regretfully taking craigslist personals offline. Hopefully we can bring them back some day.

I'm sure we'll see many forums and ad sites shutting down to avoid potential prosecution stemming from content posted by their users. This is a very bad sign of things to come. Good bye free speech. They will have to be fairly anonymous or based in a country not friendly to us, because we have a proven history of extraditing foreigners who offend us on the Internet.
There is also a very likely chance that they will prosecute the providers because they are providing data to the website inciting us to "break the law" .
Yay for burner phones, but still another obstacle to us reaching them. They will have to lose them frequently, as if they don't already.
I found several postings on the missed connections page that I interpret to be mongers like us seeking out previous contacts.

CL full of spam bots & fakes, BP under scrutiny & working off bitcoins, & SA having its membership fees, it would seem usaadultclassified would be the next best thing. Theyre free to put their contact number, emails, asking donations & theyre menu.
