Today's news is the same as yesterday's news.

I stopped in for only about 45 minutes last night. I am not frequent enough to know these gals on sight so forgive the lack of names.

#1. Short brunette met me at my car as I arrived. Could barely walk but she gave me a hug and kiss in the lot and led me by the hand inside and asked LT for a drink. This was after I tried to lose her at the bar going a different direction. She was that drunk but still found me. LT would not serve her (rightly so). She yelled at him that she was not working so she could drink if she wanted, then turned to me and offered me a dance. I declined the dance, the private dance, and the trip back to the car offers. She would most likely have passed out or puked in my car. 15 minutes later she left with someone (anyone here have a report?

#2. Chris (asian) from before and also working at OGD. Same gal who is very handy. I did get a $5 dance from her but no desire to go back with her. She mentioned that the owner said there were 'new rules' in place but had no clue what those rules are.

#3. Blonde behind me at the bar. This was a new move for me. Don't know her name as I never spoke to her. She was as gone as the brunette and trying to get a drink off the guy a couple chairs over. LT also rightly refused to serve her. She did give the guy her number for takeout but did not leave with him. Maybe he will report here when he makes a connection w / the sober version. Anyway during the bar dance from Chris, this gal is dancing behind me and she is all over the back of my chair. I knew she was out of it so I ignore feeling bad for the guy because she certainly must be giving me more contact than him (grabbed my butt, massaged my back). Then when the song is over I noticed that the guy had already left! I was the recipient of a free / random / unknown 2-for-1 bar dance! Never a word either direction from that gal but she kept falling against the bar and claiming her shoes were new to some invisible person by the wall.

Anyway, did not see the dope boys there but it was early. Other than that, wasted girls and $7 short mixed drink. Same Jen's I remember.

I also discovered that the person running it now is named Lawrence. I'm not sure if that's LT. I haven't been to Jen's in a long time so he may have had a hand in the business before it closed.

To the other question I was there sometime around 7:30/8 pm. There were probably 8-10 guys and a dozen dancers. Chris said the same owner but who knows if that was reliable info. Both bartenders (can't remember the blonde gal's name) were from before.

Jen's to me is pretty much a place to stop in and pay too much for 1 drink and see who is available for OTC. Never found it worth the time in that VIP setting. Spending $20-$40 on drinks and a couple dances is typical and worth it (IMO) if you keep that in mind.

I haven't had time to stop by Jen's yet, but I did just hear from a dancer about the club's rules. She claims nothing has changed.

Take that as you will. That also could mean they do have new rules, but they just aren't enforcing them--which to a dancer means there are no rules. She also could have told me that just to get me to stop. I know Chris says there are changes, but I wouldn't trust much of what she says. Last time I talked to her, she was looking to drive her VIP "business" to her home.

Will report more when I know it.

Anyone have any luck negotiating anything with Zoey or Danni at Gatsbys. Both work during the afternoon. Zoey is kind of exotic looking with tats, brown shorter hair and great body. Danni is long straight blonde hair, petite but still has nice big be's or see's.

Pathetic is the first word that comes to mind on what I saw on my first visit back. Dogs, not one reasonably attractive young dancer. Remodel? Well, from what I saw the shithole looks just about the same (although I didn't feel the need for a piss my visit was so short). $5 beers will keep this place from ever bouncing back to what it used to be. When I can grab a bucket at Gatsbys for $10 and its closer to home for me, there isn't much of a draw to head over to Jens. Dances at Gastsbys are just as good if not better since they are topless, at least for me since the girls there know I'm good for dances. If some of the cuter dancers at Gatsbys were to text me and say they were now working at Jens, then I'd have to reconsider visiting Jens in the near future.

Seems to be a case of the memories being better than the reality. I can't imagine going back unless it changes dramatically for the better. The environment brought out the worst characteristics of everyone who worked there.

Top 2 or 3 places for extras in Akron. Will be in town for awhile wanting to know where to go or who to see. Plus from what I have heard most things are dead so any helpful info would be nice.

But it was better than Jens, ohhhh pathetic Jens, not a gleam of its old talented self. Everybody shoots down Gatsbys and for the first 2 hours they'd be right in leaving with few dancers, but the smoking hot bartenders (one in a seethru outfit) kept us around until some smoking hot talent came in (also helped to have $10 buckets). It was a good night, thanks to the late arrival of talent at Gatsbys.

It looks like Sam's Hideaway in Medina is closed for good. That bar was open for decades. I tried it a few times: nothing worth mentioning but the locals liked it. Anyone have any stories to share?

Made the rounds this weekend. Fri and Sat night. In no particular order.

1. Lusty's if you like big girls, this is the place for you. Heard it's going to close for a while.

2. Dancers den has cheap drink prices and some decent talent. Charlie is looking good. Had a fun couple of bar dances with her.

3. Gatzbys had some really hot talent, but I couldn't get a dance. I got to start going there more. Personal opinion is the best looking dancers in Akron hang out here.

4. Dreamer girls was a lot of fun Fri night. Mia is a babe, did a VIP with a little spinner Ashley. $60 for BBBJCIM. More offered. Take out is on the menu. Sabrina was there but pretty trashed. They lost some girls to jens but none of the good ones. They're getting some talent back in there.

5. Ogd was the worst I've seen it. I stopped there sat night. I haven't felt not safe at a bar since the end of jens. There was a bad element in there. Real bad vibe. The dancers were not attractive at all. I'm going to try a day visit to see if it's better but I'll not be back at night.

6. Jens den is not worth a shot any time soon.
